Great place to stay in a short business trip. Small hotel but very cozy and organized. Stayed for 5 days with any problem at all. I recommend this hotel to everyone who is planning to go to Paris but not want to spend lots of money in a fancy and costly hotel.
nice modern rooms even if quite small. modern bathrooms. beds are comfortable even if smallish (140 cm looks like) . anothe r person made a comment on amenities but front desk will give you more. well located - i got the room for 140 euros so good rate. only issue: when the metro passes you feel and hear the rumble somewhat.
Was here for a international conference held at the Palais de Congres, which is approximately 2km away, so decided to stay here. This is one of the many Mercure chain hotels in the city. The room was rather compact but the location is very strategic, just 3 minutes away to Charles de Gaulle E'tolle metro station, 7 minutes away to the famous Champs-Elysees shopping area. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. English is frequently used so no language barrier. The only downside during my stay was the road in front of the hotel is under refurbishment so drop-off and pick-up will be by the main road, Avenue de Wagram and rather noisy for those rooms facing the street.
Great hotel overall, clean rooms and bathrooms, lovely staff, good shower, comfy bed and amazing location! The only downside was the room was a little small (especially for two people). Amazing location though - would return :)
Stayed 3 nights. Booked due to fantastic location, close proximity to the metro/subway and a number of tourist attractions. Small room but big enough for a couple. Check-in and check-out both happened smoothly, very friendly staff. All staff we dealt with spoke good English and French (they may have spoken more languages too). Would definitely recommend and return
The room was much smaller than expected. It lacked the toiletries needed for 2 adults. Unfortunately for this location, I traveled to other parts of Europe before coming back to Paris for my return flight home and stayed at another Mercure property that I thought would be the more basic of the two. The other property was head and shoulders better than this one and part of the reason for the low rating on this property.
We booked a 4 night stay as we were visiting Paris to see a music concert. The hotel is perfectly located less than 2 minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. Access to the whole of Paris via the Etoile metro station ( under the Arc de Triomphe) was simple and cheap. The hotel was quite small (as is often the case in Paris) but the room was a good size with a spacious en suite shower room and appeared to have been recently renovated and updated. The hotel "bar" was a couple of chairs and a shelf of drinks but it didn't really matter as the hotel was located next door to an excellent cafe/bar - Le General and numerous other bars, cafes, restaurants were all less than a minutes walk away. We plan to revisit Paris soon and will definitely base ourselves here again - it can't be beaten for convenience
I stayed here with my boyfriend for the last stage of the Tour de France weekend (one night- Sunday, July 2017) Firstly, be careful when tying to find this hotel as there is another mercure that looks exactly the same from the outside, about 5 minute walk away... I just want to say that I loved this quaint little hotel! It's just perfect and exactly what we needed. A night's rest in a lovely classy, sophisticated double room on the first floor of this small hotel really was perfectly fine for us two. The rooms have everything you would expect from a franchise hotel and the bed even has memory foam pillows! They also left a dressing gown and slippers on the bed on arrival which was a nice touch. We didn't spend much time in the hotel to be honest but in the morning we had the buffet breakfast on the below ground floor level where you can choose from a variety of different food/ snacks. English breakfast, cereals, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, hot and cold drinks etc. It was all wonderful and plenty of room to find a seat even if is was a slightly narrow looking hotel wth minimal bedrooms. We also didn't have to check out until 12 which I thought was great and really useful if you needed that extra rest time. The last thing I wanted to mention was the location which I would describe as, in one word- ideal! We were so close to shops, restaurants, the arc de triomphe etc which was wonderful for us as we'd booked it especially for the champs elyees stage of the tour. Definitely recommend Enjoy!
very small rooms. staff very average only positive location very near to arc de triomphe and champs elysee ; breakfast very limited better to take without breakfast as lots of small cafes right outside
The Mecure Paris Wagram is a smart, little hotel well located in the 17th and just a moment's stroll from the iconic Arc de Triomphe. I've stayed a few times and have been more than pleased with the rooms I have been allocated, which, though not large, are very well presented, and surprisingly well insulated from any street noise. The bathrooms are modern with more than ample water pressure, especially from the rainforest shower. Heavenly. And, most importantly, the beds are wonderful. One delta is that the breakfast room is quite tight and could use more ventilation, especially when more than 70% of the tables are occupied. No need for a sweater down there. Will I be back? Of course.
