Mercure Paris Arc de Triomphe Wagram4.0 out of 5.0

Stayed at the Mercure Opera before and having been disappointed, I decided to try the Wagram for my next stay. Staff are always friendly in the Accor group, my room was just about the right size for Paris and the bathroom was well organised. My wing of the building was pretty quiet, and internet worked really well, which is rarely the case in hotels. Location could not be better next door to the Champs Elysées and Arc de Triomphe. Will definitely come back.
I stayed at the Wagram in August last year after reading mixed reviews. Very pleased with my decision, the hotel is easily accessible from Gare du Nord (15 mins on the metro or 15 euros in a cab) and is within minutes of the Arc du Triomphe. The rooms are not huge but they are not ridiculously small. The location felt very safe, I was travelling alone and didn't feel uncomfortable coming back to the hotel in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.
I've been stayed in many hotels of Accor Hotels. I strongly recommend this hotel because the excellent staff, location, cleanliness, etc. Also, I would like to thank all the staff, especially to Mrs Maryline COSTE to, when they found my sunglasses that I forgot in the room, promptly sent an email asking my address to send by mail. The stay was perfect in all aspects. Thank you All !
Just off the Main Street this hotel is so convenient. Nice variety of breakfast foods, tidy well equipped rooms and friendly staff. Ideal for visiting Paris as close to the sights and metro station. Excellent value considering the location and would highly recommend.
Great location! Clean and well maintained. But strange heating and noisy due to the subway underneath the premises. Ok breakfast for the money. Recommended if you want to explore city center. Very convenient location for using the subway
Pros Great location Round the corner from the airport bus stop from CDG Close to the metro stop Etoile 2 min to walk to the champs elysees Tastefully decorated rooms Friendly staff They had a discount offer on the bateaux Parisians at reception 9€ instead of 12€ Cons Rooms are small but expected in Paris View from room was a plain wall Would definitely visit again
Well located for the museum side of Paris. Arc de Triomphe at the end of the road and many of the museums a short walk away. Designed specifically on the basis that you will be out all day seeing the sights. Which is a fair assumption. But be prepared for a very well appointed but small room. In fact this is the smallest room I have ever spent the night in. The room has various pinch points where you and your partner cannot pass with our one of you getting up onto the bed. I have stayed in well appointed rooms like this before where the planning and design have turned out somewhat differently in reality. But you can actually open all the doors and reach the shower without knocking into the wall. But really.....this is a very very small room indeed. Excellent receptionist. Printed off our boarding cards, gave recommendations booked a cheap taxi back to the airport. Never found out about the breakfast because at 18 euro there are 100 outlets outside the Hotel with cheaper offerings where you can look out onto the street Parisian style.
Great place to stay in a short business trip. Small hotel but very cozy and organized. Stayed for 5 days with any problem at all. I recommend this hotel to everyone who is planning to go to Paris but not want to spend lots of money in a fancy and costly hotel.
nice modern rooms even if quite small. modern bathrooms. beds are comfortable even if smallish (140 cm looks like) . anothe r person made a comment on amenities but front desk will give you more. well located - i got the room for 140 euros so good rate. only issue: when the metro passes you feel and hear the rumble somewhat.
Was here for a international conference held at the Palais de Congres, which is approximately 2km away, so decided to stay here. This is one of the many Mercure chain hotels in the city. The room was rather compact but the location is very strategic, just 3 minutes away to Charles de Gaulle E'tolle metro station, 7 minutes away to the famous Champs-Elysees shopping area. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. English is frequently used so no language barrier. The only downside during my stay was the road in front of the hotel is under refurbishment so drop-off and pick-up will be by the main road, Avenue de Wagram and rather noisy for those rooms facing the street.
