This hotel was fantastic. It was in a great location with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were really nice with great bathroom products. There was a bakery a few doors down for breakfast and public transport was also clise although we hardly used it as we preferred to walk almost everywhere. Very safe area.

Not my first time there, still very good Excellent location good service early check in was possible Room good size for Paris everything what u need sleepers bath robe ... Toilet separate and double door from corridor for noise Highly recommended

This was the second time I have stayed here, as the first was so pleasant. Friendly staff, great rooms, and a very convenient location. There are good restaurants and bars nearby, as well as shopping and access to various museums. No doubt will be back again. Merci encore!

What a nice surprise in Paris. Small, stylish, quiet hotel just off Place Vendome. Amazing location close to all main attractions and a few undergournd lines. The room was beautifully decorated and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast restaurant was a bit tiny but charming. It felt like having breakfast at your grandma's kitchen. The staff was super nice and I was offered freshly made omelette and crepes which were both delightful. Genuine gem in central Paris. Highly recommended.

We had been warned that hotels in Paris have tiny rooms, and that hospitality was not their strongest suit, and certainly didn't match the prices. Our experience exceeded our gloomy expectations. This hotel is a little gem. The staff are delightful and our room (we elected to pay a little more for a Superior room) was comfortable, quiet and extremely well appointed, from Clarins on tap in the bathroom to a huge comfy bed. The position of the hotel could not have been better. The only warning: it is advisable to know where to eat. We made successive poor and overpriced guesses.

The hotel is clean and well maintained, very quiet at night and the people are kind. But if you go with a car and many luggage it gets rather difficult. There is no parking, no available car park in the street. So you have to stop in the middle of traffic in that narrow street and with the usual stress of Parisians it is not a good experience. There was also a smell o smoke or dust or whatsoever unindentifiable in the commons and in the bedroom. It was better when we stopped the air conditioning. The spaces are smaller than in the other Sofitel hotels that we know. Not enough space for clothes, we had to leave them in the luggage on the floor. The neighbourhood is nice with plenty of bistrots and restaurants.

This was my third holiday in Paris and this is the best hotel we have stayed in. The room was very large for Paris with the room we booked having a small separate lounge area, a good size bathroom with a bath. The hotel was very central if you are into shopping or wanting to be able to use the room as a base for a mid day break. The room looked over a very small courtyard and so effectively no view, but this was nothing compared to the how great the room was. The staff were helpful, although we had no real reason to need them. We spent 5 nights at the hotel. The other benefit of the location was so much was within a five minute walk. The was a laundromat around the corner which also had instructions in English and this was very helpful. Also had a number of small cafe's in the area with 'inexpensive' breakfasts, and a supermarket close by which allowed us to buy nibbles and a bottle of wine occasional to keep some of the costs down. We would stay at the hotel again, and would definitely book the larger room again, it was great.

This hotel is small and doesn´t feel like a hotel at all. Very homy and quiet. We got room 62 which is on the top floor. Very, very charming: both bathroom and bedroom have small terraces with a cool view of the other buildings. Everything beautiful and desgined to make a difference. The Clarins amenities are a plus. We did not have breakfast there so we cannot comment. Good staff. I won´t point that as a downer, but I got confused when I asked for bath towels and got small ones instead. Maybe they did n´t have them available...Well: the location is great just a few steps from Place Vendome, restaurants, Opera and Tuilleries metro stations. I would definetely stay there again.

We have just had another wonderful stay at the Hotel Stendhal. Its excellent location makes it a perfect base from which to explore Paris. Our room was exactly as requested, very quiet, sufficiently spacious and well appointed. A pleasure to return to at the end of the day, content in the knowledge we would get a good night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed. The well-lit bathroom had a good strong shower. We very much appreciated the staff at reception, always helpful and welcoming, and the housekeeping staff who took such good care of our room. This hotel offers a consistently high standard so no surprise that it is always our first choice when we visit Paris.

Hotel Stendhal is in a fantastic location. Walking distance to many great restaurants, bars & to Rue Saint Honore which has all the big designers. Our room was a good size for a Parisian hotel with a good sized bathroom & it was all very modern. We always walked around the corner to Mârche St Honore square where there is many great restaurants filled with lots of local it was a good spot.
