The location of the property is excellent. Its a walking distance to The Arch, Eiffel Tower, Champ Elysees, Metro, stops of the Hop on Hop off bus, and lots of places to eat around. It's a very small, vintage hotel and it gives one the feeling or experience of what is was like to travel in the older years. One has to carry his own luggage up in the tiny winding stairs. The 5 nights we stayed the lyft was not working. Although most of the clerk's has limited English they are quite helpful in their own ways. The hotel has no frills but it served the purpose of having a place to rest in after a busy day in Paris. I will definitely use again if given another chance.
This hotel is located in an excellent district. There are numerous restaurants and shops nearby. It is a 6 minute walk to the Charles de Gaule Etoile train station, which is beneath the Arc de Triumph. I walked alone with my 7 year old daughter and felt that the neighborhood was safe, even at 1am. The hotel staff were courteous and spoke passable English. The room was of average decor but was clean. The shower head was fantastic and the bathroom modern. There was no air conditioning. A small elevator was available as we were on the 5th floor. I would say it was a 2.5 star hotel.
Rooms are tiny but clean and if you ask for a room on the courtyard, they're quiet. Tons of hot water, good water pressure, powerful a/c and heat, and the desk staff was really above and beyond in how they helped me with restaurant recommendations and directions to Port Malliot to catch my CDG transport.

Dear Anonymous, Hotel Riviera Elysées would have appreciated help you during your stay if you told the reception desk the problem you had ;)
