We spent 3 nights at the hotel and found the room quite decent. It was clean and quiet and the location was convenient (close to 2 metro stations). The bad experience came after checking out. After leaving, we realized that we forgot some stuff (medium-sized teddy cow). It's not expensive but of great sentimental value. We immediately contacted the front desk and they said the room was not made by the time. When we came back in the afternoon, they said they didnt have what we were looking for (they did keep an umbrella we forgot and some food we left in the trash though). That's strange because we knew we left it in the hotel and called them at once. Would be nice if the housekeeping could help find it back
Hotel is great for the price. I don't think I would improve anything at all. For those complaining about the room size, then upgrade. The staff are what make the hotel great. There are mentions of the sketchy neighborhood, but I loved it. The diversity of people, food and drink was memorable and colorful. It was certainly more entertaining than the homogenous Marais (outside the architecture and all things tourist of course :) Will go back!!!
The hotel was nice, and every day they cleaned our room. Everything was fantastic, but there wasn’t a parking place, so we had to parking in the street. The street was a little bit noisy, but we didn’t hear at the room. The hotel is not far from the city center.
Hotel has a really good location, but there are many homeless people around that are a little creepy but harmless. Stuff is nice, rooms are comfy but really small. The price was ok, due last minute booking, else it is overexpensive breakfast.
When I stay in Paris I’m always there for business. I find it difficult to find a good hotel in Paris in the neighborhood I would like to stay. This hotel has a perfect location with Rue st Honoré in 1 minute waking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the entrance & lobby of the hotel are both SO beautiful and typical ‘French chic’. The suite was good but not perfect. It’s a little bit out dated and old BUT very clean and for the location the hotel is well and honestly priced.
Front desk Personnel is very professional, nice, and helpful. Small place, small rooms but comfortable. Cleaning ladies super nice. Good breakfast. Don't pay attention to the street, its safe. I would be back anytime.
I cant say enough about how wonderful the front desk staff is - especially Caroline who is knowledgeable about the local area and speaks several languages - The rooms were clean and spacious - highly recommend
The hotel is in a convenient location, down a small one way street 2 minutes from Bonne Nouvelle and Strasbourg Saint Denis metro stations. My first impression on a Thursday night was the street was a bit and loud but the reception area was a nice sanctuary. I was given room 206 on the front side of the hotel, a larger (by European standards) double with a nice sized bathroom, however due to the acoustics of the street below it was a little noisy so I called reception and asked if I could move. I was shown 3 other double rooms to choose from and picked 601 on the top floor which was smaller, but as I was travelling alone wasn't a problem for me. It's by the lift and the cleaners closest, but wasn't busy in the hallway until after 10am. This is a boutique style hotel so from what I could tell most of the rooms are different shapes and sizes, if you are given a room that you think is on the smaller side, it's as simple as asking for an alternative and they're happy to accommodate. A few things could - and from conversations I had, are planned to - be improved; in-room facilities really - tea making facilities & irons. I'm not in the habit of always phoning and asking for items and it wasn't exactly close by to go down to the reception. So adding these things to rooms would be useful. The AC in my room didn't work that well but the window opened onto the courtyard so that was easily remedied. The hotel gave me 2 bottle of complimentary waters during my stay, which was nice and the rooms include shampoo, lotion, vanity kits etc, the towels are pretty standard for Europe; a little small and a little thin, but clean and replaced as desired. There is a small fridge in the rooms for your personal items. I worked one day at this hotel, the wifi is more than adequate. I was able to connect to the work VPN and also stream Netflix in HD. My phone stayed connected in all the areas and the signal was always strong. The area immediately around the hotel does have a few homeless people congregating but the whole of Paris is this way. I'm a female who travelled alone, one night returning close to midnight and no one bothered me at all. I found all the staff I interacted with very helpful and pleasant, if I was in the habit of staying in the same area on subsequent trips I would book this hotel again.
We enjoyed our stay in Paris so much! Caroline and all the staff at the hotel took the time to help us navigate the metro, our sightseeing and our airline travel. The room was lovely, quiet, clean and very close to the metro. We would absolutely stay here again!
Our family of three were never able to connect to WiFi the entire three days we were there. Although the hotel is near the Metro, we had to pass through drunks and homeless people to get to it. Once you got to the hotel, I felt safe.
