The location of the hotel is very good, So close to the metro station " Poissonniere" ,you can find more shops and restaurants around the hotel which is turning the living in their rooms easy. the personnel of hotel are in good manner and friendly and are so patrician to answer your question or problems.
We picked the hotel as it is near the Eurostar terminal and we had an early train on Monday. We opted fro a studio to allow us to take advantage of the great food you can buy in local shops and markets in Paris. So it was great for those 2 reasons. The room had enough equipment to cook fresh fish and meat simply (2 electric rings) and eat in relative comfort. There was a fridge. However, no washing-up liquid! It was clean, but looked like it had been well-used over time. The bed was a fold out from the wall sofa, so it was a bit of challenge to get out, avoiding the fixed sides. The shower was powerful, but had been fixed so the average 6 year old could use it comfortably, my husband (6'4'') had to shower on his knees and even then had problems washing his hair! The wi fi worked and the room was quiet as it was not overlooking the street. There was some noise from other guests on the stairwell. Overall it was reasonable, in easy reach of a metro station, with lots of bars, cafes and food shops near by.
In Paris is always hard to find good deals with high quality places. This hotel appears as a good alternative to be close to Paris main landmarks and very close to a metro station, and do not pay much for it. The room is quite small (as expected in Paris), but it seems to have been updated recently. The staff is great and extremely helpful. The only drawback is the neighborhood, which can be a bit noisy during the weekend, thus having a great pair of ear plugs is handy :)
Not the very worst place I've ever been, there are definitely some issues with this place though. On the good notes, the staff was pretty friendly, and location puts you close enough to downtown Paris to check out a lot of it by foot but that's pretty much it. Check-in was overly complicated, the breakfast room ceiling leaks profusely (it was raining), internet was slow, every thing was small, place kinda smells funny, really loud around the hotel, and climate control is a joke. Even breakfast was served of of the top of a pool table.. Not worth what they are asking. I wouldn't pay more than 25 euro a night for this place.
Almost everything was wrong with the place. Their wifi was horrible; their elevator was broken; their cleaning service was not good in cleaning (and they disturbed us multiple times while we were still in the room); 12 euros for a very simple breakfast; the room (and the bathroom) were super small; it was noisy (you could hear noises from other rooms, even closing and opening their bathroom doors, and there is a bar nearby which has a lot of noise at night). All in all, it is not worth the price they are asking for.
This place is very close to the Metro. Line #7.. Very small rooms. A place to shower and sleep.. They will store stuff in the fridge for you at the front desk if you ask.. Not bad for solo traveler.. Family probably not so much.. Again Location Location Location
Average hotel, a little bit overpriced. Small rooms, Broken hairdryer. Well cleaned rooms and bathroom. Location is not bad. It works fine for a city trip, when you're out all day and basically just stay there to sleep.
Visited Paris in january 2017 when we checked in receptionist gave us our key stating someone had lost the large key fob so we only had a small key fob. We went to the room which was ideal for us as we would be out and about so only needed it as a base. On our first night we went out and on our return went straight to our room we opened our door and in the morning we could not find our key anywhere we turned the room up side down to no avail. The only thing we could think of was we had left the key on the outside of the door and someone had taken it. We informed reception and were told we would have to pay for a new key and a complete new locking system. When we checked out we had to pay 75 euros, which my partner and I were not happy at all. Ive sent emails to the hotel requesting a refund but had no reply at all. Writing a review on trip advisor may prompt someone from the hotel to reply to us. Has anyone else had the same experience if so what did you do the recoupe your money???
Comfort Hotel is at La fayette street in Paris. It is a nice hotel though the rooms are small with small rest rooms but good to spent few nights. Its a good deal compare to price. Staff at reception is good and guide you with the points of attraction and how to reach there.
A small no-frills hotel. I would not suggest it to people to whom room size and amenities are important. But if you're not going to spend a lot of time in your (very small) room, the hotel does the job. Tiny room with basic amenities, but all scrupulously clean. That is including under the bed as I found out when I dropped something that rolled under it. Not much space to put anything down in the bathroom, particularly as the tiny glass shelf under the mirror was sloping and nothing would stay put on it. You'll have to live out of your sponge bag. The tiny shower may be a problem for someone not of average size. Decent breakfast. Pleasant helpful staff. What I liked less: no safe, which might be a problem for people who want to leave cash or other valuables in the room (check with front desk whether there is a main safe?) and no nightstand lamp, only the main lighting. You could perform surgery by it. Not exactly cozy. But for a short stay, it's quite fine. Wifi works well.
