Great location, right next to a metro station therefore easy to get around Paris. Rooms were spotlessly clean, well decorated and had very comfy beds! The highlight of this hotel had to be the staff- always on hand to give advice, extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel, thank you for a great stay!
Was due to visit this hotel tomorrow but had received an email saying my visit had been cancelled! I did receive an email which notified me that my card had expired but reservation was still active and I had 24 hours to enter a new form of payment. Of course I entered a new payment method straight away however I have just received an email which states my reservation has now been cancelled and I am due to fly tomorrow. tried to re-book the hotel and the prices have risen significantly, terrible customer service!
Friendly staff greeted us and s room upgrade at no charge was provided. This was very much appreciated. The location was excellent and breakfast was satisfactory. No problem with the speed of the hotel wifi and all in all it was a comfortable and memorable stay.
I didn’t realise when I booked - so many adult shops. Pimps in corners, lap dancing places!! Eiffel Tower adult toys 😭😭😭😭😭 who knew?! Hilarious!!! Very very good people watching area. Close to Moulin Rouge- explains the above!! Lovely lovely faultless staff. So friendly. 12 min walk from Gare Du Nord. Very close to Metro Close to Sacre Coeur Great bars /eateries near by! Small rooms, basic. Spot on for price and our needs.
We are super glad to have chosen this hotel. Here are the reasons: 1. Location It's perfectly located close to the Pigalle Metro Station. So going around Paris had never been problems. From Gare Du Nord with taxi it was only less than 10 minutes. The beautiful Montmartre and Sacre Coeur is within 15 minutes walk. To shopping area in Boulevard Haussmann was only 20 minutes. Nice and cozy cafes, bistros and restaurants are plenty around the hotel. 2. Room Like most hotels in Paris, the room was quite small. But, very well arranged. So it was still very convenience to store luggages and spare spaces to move around inside the room. Everything was always perfectly cleaned. Bed sheets and towels felt clean and smelled good. Carpet felt clean - the housekeeping vacuumed it everyday. Amenities are always completed (basic like coffees, teas, sugars, etc). 3. Staffs and Hotel Facilities. Staffs were extremely helpful. Ludovic - the duty manager - was very attentive since we arrived until we left the hotel. All staffs were ready to help with all questions we asked (dine recommendation, travel around the city, etc). The lobby and the restaurant where the breakfast was served were very cozy. It was a perfect stay. We enjoyed every day of the stay.
The hotel is just next to the pigalle station which is very convenient. The service is good. The air conditioning is a bit low however. There are many restaurants nearby and some small Frence restaurants are good in taste. You can search in google easily. There is a staff called Emma who is especially helpful in solving any problems that we raised. This is awesome!
Very nice hotel for a weekend getaway. We stayed in the 'room with a view'. This was on the 6th floor, with 2 small balconies you could step out onto to see Sacre Coeur. The rooms its self had everything you would expect from a small chain hotel in Paris with a room upgrade. The shower was sizeable, Nespresso machine, large bed, sound poof.... The breakfast was adequate with good quality coffee and was a good start to the day. They were happy to look after our bags after we checked out and gave us an umbrella as it was raining. The sex shop as mentioned in other reviews is noticeable when you walk up but not when you are in the building. It was something I was worried about but we just found the location funny then walked into hotel. The takeaway is don't let it put you off a great hotel with a professional finish and welcoming staff
This is the smallest bedroom I stayed out of all the Mercure around Europe. It is in the centre of the red light district, very convenient if u want a late night kebab. Bedroom cramped lots of nice furnitures in a weird layout. I wouldn't mind to stay there just for one night. More than one night please consider somewhere else. Oddly, when I lifted the duvet up to check the bed when I first arrived. I found hair on the "clean" bed. It is your choice
In Paris for my birthday. I needed a room where I felt comfortable to lay my head at night. But when I say this room is small please understand I mean SMALL. when I got out of the bed I hit my foot on my suitcase. 2 people should never have to say "excuse me" in a hotel room. Lol. I felt like I was sleeping on wood with a pillow and blanket. Now if u like a firm bed then that's no issue. The area looks a little "hoodish" but it all reminds me of New York. You're about 3 or 4 blocks from Moulin Rouge. All in all would I stay here again, I probably would. Other people complained of the staff to me they were great. In a nut shell.... if your primary focus is to sightsee and u just need to feel comfortable while you sleep this place is fine. If I stayed more hours in a hotel I would have stayed elsewhere. But I was ONLY in my room to sleep, no lounging so it was fine for me.
Wonderful hotel situated a minutes walk from the metro giving easy access across the city! The room was cosy, modern and clean! We had a rear facing room which was brilliant as I think the rooms on the front could get a bit noisy on Saturday nights! Would definitely stay here again!
