This is a very "old school" property; it's size and amenities are more than compensated by its location and staff.

This hotel is in a quiet-ish street, very near a metro station, which was very convenient! The room was clean and relatively basic, just what I needed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and happy to help. I would not hesitate to return!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us plan some of the outings to fit in our limited visit (3 nights). The location was very good - just a few kms from the Eiffel tower and the Louvre - and only a few blocks from a subway station (Madeline). The hotel rooms were small but sufficient (we did not come to Paris to stay in a hotel room all day). We ate breakfast at tue hotel every morning. We always got the energy breakfast (€13), it was delightful with lots of variety - baskets of assorted fruit and pastries/bread with jam from their garden, orange juice and coffee or tea. The "energy" part adds plain yogurt and corn flakes cereal. We took the subway a few times to sitesee, but took a taxi to/from the airport (CDG), since we had 4 people and a fair amount of luggage, only costs €51 from airport and €65 to the airport, which seemed like a great deal for door-to-door transport at a price not much more than the subway/train fees for 4. The staff watched our luggage for an hour after checkout at noon, so we could do some final siteseeing before leaving to catch our plane.

Ive stayed here twice and i really like this small, quaint hotel. It’s very close to lots of good shopping in a very safe part of town. Super close to the metro stop Madeline. The workers are all nice and very friendly. Always answer any questions without any problem. The room I had this time was for 2 travelers and it was a great size. The bathroom was also very clean and good sized as well. The tv had good programs (mostly in French of course lol so I had to Resort to mostly CNN hahah) there is a mini fridge and safe that was very convenient as well. I really enjoy my stay here and will continue to stay here whenever I’m in Paris!

This is a value priced hotel in a great location with a congenial staff.

Great location! That needs to be said again. Laundry can be done on site for 10 Euro(done by staff). Friendly staff from the workers to the owners. Tabacco shop across the street with restaurants and cafes in the area. Definitely would stay again.

Small local hotel that provides the necessities. Clean and comfortable but not luxurious by any definition. You get what you pay for. Staff was helpful and friendly

The room was small but clean. The Hotel is very strategically located in the 8th arrondissement. The staff was very nice and helpful. They help me find another hotel when I needed an extra night and they were full. Drawback: no elevator.

We choose the Hotel initially for it's location. Once we checked in we were delightfully surprised at how attentive and accommodating all the employees were. The Room was a great value with clean facilities and plenty of on-site amenities. We enjoy walking and were able to easily walk to all major tourist locations - be aware that on average we walked 8 miles daily - all very pleasurable (read mainly flat land.) Many options for excellent food were very close to the Hotel. Will gladly stay there in the future.

Nice location, good hotel. Staff was friendly and everything went smoothly. They do ask for your room key when you leave the premises, which wasn't a big deal but was a little difference than other hotels. They serve breakfast for an additional charge, basic but good. Had other options for additional fees. Overall, a nice stay and decent walk to attractions.

My stay was only for a night but it was very pleasant. Very close to the train station (Madeline) and ALL the high end boutique stores (Hermes, Chanel, givenchy, etc)! Excellent location. Staff was very friendly (interacted with 3 receptionists and 1 housekeeper). All very nice and pleasant. Room was Decent size for one person. Bathroom clean and nice.

Arrived and checked in. 3 hours later they made me change rooms stating that they had made an error, but the picture shown online was the room I reserved. Put me in a worse room for more money. You have to give up your key each time you leave, and can only gain entry after 10pm by ringing the bell and waking someone up. No real pillows, just some old bolster material wrapped in sheets. No privacy tag for the door so they come around early and don't stop until you leave. A bit rundown. No lift. The kind of hotel I would have stayed in when I was in my 20s for very little money. The prices are not so cheap now. Location is good.

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your review. Our hotel is a two-star, which keeps its promises. There is luxury elsewhere in Paris, but it is more expensive. Looking forward to your next stay. Best Regards The Reception
