I had an issue while doing the booking and the employee Madeleine replied to my email without checking and in the rudest way. I have a booking for next year that I can’t cancel . But if this is the face of the hotel this is going to be the first and last one.
Worried of how would be the hotel because of very affordable price : quite a good surprise ! Rooms little but cosy and really clean! Perfect place to go around visiting Paris. Abdel the receptionist is a nice man, discreet and efficient, welcoming and caring for your well being. Thierry his colleague is a great professional too. WiFi is a bit cutting. A good place to recommend for some days in Paris
I will admit that I was a bit apprehensive about my stay when I read the reviews, but I had absolutely nothing to worry about. The lift is small and so are the corridors, but the rooms themselves are a decent size and have ample room for 2 people. They're also very clean. The bathroom was also a decent size with a spacious shower. My only gripe was that there was not a traditional bathroom door, but a sliding door that covered the doorway, which meant that there was minimal privacy - luckily I was with a good friend! The reception staff were incredibly helpful and chatty. I did not eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the food, but there are plenty of lovely local eateries in the surrounding streets that are great value for money. There are also some great bars that are open late. A great base for staying in Paris - the hotel is close to both the gare du l'est (5 minute) and gare du nord.
The room, which is quite small, is well-equipped and tidy. The receptionists were very supportive and helpful, giving advices on going to attractions in Paris. The room was very nice, in my point of view. There were hot water, room cleaning service everyday. It is reasonable for that price and the place is close to all kind of public transportation. Though the elevator is scary somehow but we definitely recommend this place
Have just returned from a visit here. Stayed for 3 nights and was pleasantly surprised after reading the bad reviews. The rooms are clean and comfortable, they are not massive but you have everything you want and need in a room- tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, clean towels daily etc. Staff 2ere friendly and all in all a great stay.
The hotel is a real disaster. Rooms are tiny and dirty. The first room I was given had soaking wet window curtains which were just washed so the water was dripping on the floor which was flooded. The result was that the whole room was also extremely damp. After having asked for a new room I was given a room next to the reception on the ground floor. The room was also not properly cleaned (hair on the floor) and some lamp bulbs were burnt. Additionally, you could hear all noises from the hall and reception. I was woken up at 5am by some guests complaining at the reception about their room. Overall very bad experience. Feels more like a hostel than a hotel. You have to leave your key at the reception each time you leave the hotel which is also quite annoying.
We stayed few days in Paris in this hotel, the location of the hotel was fantastic next to the underground, train stations and Republique square, a place with a lot of restaurants and pubs. Furthermore in the main street you may find supermarkets, And shops. Hotel rooms are small And the toilet too. We had a little problem, we ask for changing the towels, and one of the new towel had hair...it was unpleasant. But the rest of our stay was good.
The rooms were smaller than I imagined but they are clean and well equipped. It is rated with 3 stars, but I would give it 2. I stayed there for the location, as I needed to be close to Place de la Republique and the train station. The neighborhood isn't the best.
Centrally located and convenient to a number of transport hubs. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms tiny in fact so small you would have a job to swing a cat. No air conditioning making sleeping difficult in such a confined space. Breakfast adequate but could do with the addition of fresh fruit. Wifi available but band width poor.
We had a short break booked and the hotel and its staff were amazing the whole time we were there. There were long days and my french failed me the majority of the time and the team went above and beyond to help. Huge thanks to Abdel who was fab for both myself and my other half. Great location for being close to the station and I would consider staying here again for the location. Its a good size room and bathroom.
