The room was larger than expected, however not huge but more than comfy. The first 2 nights we were on the front facing the street and my friend did get some interruption from noise, I slept through it all. The main reason was the air conditioner was not working as I'm sure you would not hear a sound otherwise. The lovely Lucy arranged a room change and that was just perfect. She even organised a complimentary breakfast for our last day. The location is great and convienient to the busses and metro and the cafes etc on Rue de Leviis are sensational
Very cosy hotel. Makes you feel at home. Warm atmosphere friendly staff not a lot of rooms. Location is brilliant. Very trendy area. Not far from main cental attractions. Living like a local. So many choices.
A delightful 3 star hotel, away from the tourist districts, and located in a charming 'local' area. Close to a Metro but also very convenient to attractions, if you enjoy walking. Hotel personnel very welcoming. Rooms small but very clean and completely adequate. Excellent breakfast. Lots of restaurants, cafes, shops and outdoor markets in the area.
We visited here for a four-night break whilst our daughter was on her year abroad during university. What a lovely, quaint, typically-French boutique hotel it is. Very clean and comfortable with a comprehensive continental breakfast. Close to local markets, metro stations and restaurants but away from the busy city life.
Our children booked us two nights in April in this sweet, traditional Parisian hotel just 20 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and 30 minutes to Sacre Coeur. So a great location and excellent value. The rooms are on the small side as is the bathroom but everything worked as it should and clean and comfortable bed. The people on the front desk were friendly and helpful and recommended an excellent restaurant nearby. My only gripe was that our room was on the ground floor so you could hear all the noise from the street including the rubbish lorries at the early hours every day including weekends. Free WiFi which worked well.
Stayed at hotel for 4 days while attending training course at Mediasite centre just around the corner. The location for this was perfect as it was less than 5 minutes walk. The hotel is 5-10 min walk from the Villiers Metro stop which has good connections onto CDG airport via Gard du Nord. The hotel itself is also situated in a very nice district just beside the market street of Rue de Levis as well as numerous very nice restaurants and shops. Throughout my stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nicely decorated (I quite liked the pictures on the walls), and as the hotel is not on a main street, is relatively quiet during the night. I only had breakfast once, but there was a good choice but I found the 12€ price a bit high. The only thing I found unusual was that anytime I had to leave the hotel, I had to return my key (a real key, not a card) to reception. Its the first time I have stayed in a hotel that has done this and not really sure why unless they had a problem with guests constantly losing keys.
We very much enjoyed our return visit to the hotel which now has a new breakfast conservatory. Our room was comfortable and the hotel staff are all very helpful. Villiers is a great location with good local shops in Rue de Levis and a selection of cafes and bars.
Wonderful, neighborhood-y location. In the morning, residents were walking their dogs, taking kids to school and shopping at the local fruit stand, butcher and fromagerie. Staff was over the top friendly. Rooms were prestine. Villiers metro stop just a few blocks away. Highly recommend for the value.
loved this area of Paris - out of the noise, but just off roads with great local bars and restaurants and a local market - plus near the Metro. Rooms are small but clean with a lovely bathroom, and beds are very comfy. Breakfast was extra but very good. Would recommend for a good value, small hotel.
We went in December 2015 and it was a lovely trip. Nice staff, lovely cosy rooms, great breakfast, all round a great hotel for Paris considering the great location and the price. Would stay here again. They arranged a cake from a local patisserie as it was my girlfriend's birthday to be in the room when we arrived, and it was! Very good service.
