Hotel Jardin de Villiers

It is not easy to find places in downtown Paris that are both comfortable and affordable, but Jardin is one where the two qualities meet. The rooms are small, clean and quite. Beds are untypically large, soft and flat (with global standard pillows, not the French rolls). You can reserve a parking place in advance in the parking garage at the end of the street for a reasonable price. The basement gym contains three cardio machines. The area is shaped by the typical 19th century Paris architecture and full of shops, stalls and cafetaria. (Breakfast at the hotel is fine, but there is really no need.) For us it is a place to return too!

We stayed in Logis Jardin de Villiers for 2 nights, rooms were ready on arrival and the receptionist was pleasing and welcoming.Rooms were given immediately.Clean and neat rooms but very small for two persons, toilets were small and well heated.Sleep quality & toiletries was good.Interiors were neat and pleasing. Its a 5-10 min walk to the Villiers metro station.a lot of fine dining restaurants in this area. They was also a high street with a lot of shopping. We didn't have breakfast here as we felt 10euro was a bit pricy. The only drawback in this hotel that the manager (a person with coat and suit) was not very pleasing and was irritated when we asked for some help.He seemed to be more interested in checking his emails on the computer rather than attending to a guest in front of him.I didn't expect this from French hospitality. Overall a good stay and well maintained rooms.

This is a small hotel, very friendly in Great location 8 mins from Villiers Metro. Charming area with plenty of restaurants, bars and a buzzing vibe. Great hotel serving a buffet style breakfast with lovely fresh food.

We stayed here for 3 nights during a visit to Paris with some friends and we were very happy with our choice of hotel. The street in which the hotel is located is not the most glamorous in Paris but it is perfectly well located for exploring Paris being walking distance from some of the main visitor attractions and a two minute walk from Villiers Metro station. Moulin Rouge and Montmartre are a good walk or a very short metro ride away and we also walked down to the Arc De Triumph and from there down the Champs Elysee to the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. This was a stretching walk but a really pleasant one through areas with great shops and interesting architecture. We made the return journey by Metro and it took just a few minutes. The area of Villiers is lovely with lots of great shops and restaurants and they are just one or two streets away from the hotel. The rooms we had were quite small but well equipped and comfortable. The building is beautifully decorated throughout and has the feel of having had a very recent and very well designed refurbishment. We had breakfast each morning which is served in a very nice conservatory and the food was delicious and satisfying. The staff at the hotel were helpful, friendly, professional and most of them spoke excellent English but were very patient with us when we tried out our phrase-book french . The few staff who didn't speak English went out of their way to be helpful and make themselves understood. Apparently there is a gym in the basement but we did not make use of this during our stay. We very much enjoyed our time at this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

+Clean , staff ok, good breakfast venue, nearby metro, couple of good restaurants around metro station, room service - Noisy room (even late at night), maintenance ongoing, very tight spaces to access , definitely not morning person kind of staff.

We chose Jardin de Villiers for one of our frequent visits to Paris to visit our son and his family who live in the 17th. Previously we have stayed in an hotel in the 8th and also an Air B&B. What a fantastic find. Not only for the fact that it is so close to them - a very friendly family neighbourhood, a stone's throw from the wonderful Parc Monceau with brilliant links to the rest of Paris - but for the wonderful time we had during our stay with the hotel. Welcome, cleanliness, amenities, breakfast (quality and choice), I could go on but don't take my word for it come and try for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

The room was larger than expected, however not huge but more than comfy. The first 2 nights we were on the front facing the street and my friend did get some interruption from noise, I slept through it all. The main reason was the air conditioner was not working as I'm sure you would not hear a sound otherwise. The lovely Lucy arranged a room change and that was just perfect. She even organised a complimentary breakfast for our last day. The location is great and convienient to the busses and metro and the cafes etc on Rue de Leviis are sensational

Very cosy hotel. Makes you feel at home. Warm atmosphere friendly staff not a lot of rooms. Location is brilliant. Very trendy area. Not far from main cental attractions. Living like a local. So many choices.

A delightful 3 star hotel, away from the tourist districts, and located in a charming 'local' area. Close to a Metro but also very convenient to attractions, if you enjoy walking. Hotel personnel very welcoming. Rooms small but very clean and completely adequate. Excellent breakfast. Lots of restaurants, cafes, shops and outdoor markets in the area.

We visited here for a four-night break whilst our daughter was on her year abroad during university. What a lovely, quaint, typically-French boutique hotel it is. Very clean and comfortable with a comprehensive continental breakfast. Close to local markets, metro stations and restaurants but away from the busy city life.
