This is not an upscale hotel, but executes very well what it does. Room was very small, and very clean. Excellent new beds, and excellent new, clean, very good bathrooms. The staff were all very gracious and welcoming. Breakfast spread offered far more choices and options than I ever would expect in such a small hotel--definitely a welcome surprise. The area is also superb for my tastes -- residential but with tons of hotels and cafes and metro stations near by. The one downside is that we had reserved a triple room, and did not realize that the third bed was not an actual bed, but a foldout chair/couch. There was very little room to walk, and I wish we had known it wasn't a proper bed. Otherwise, a very comfortable place to stay.
Parking as I'm sure many are aware of is expensive in Paris. When finding this hotel with parking available at 18 Euro per day we decided to book this hotel. When arriving we were told that it was fully booked and we need to park at another place for 34 euros per day and roughly 1km from the hotel. Discussing this with staff working at the hotel we were told that it wasn't there fault and not willing to cover the difference or any compensation. The room was very small and would never return to this hotel.
We have stayed in this hotel for two days with one of our child ( 3 years old). At our arrival , the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. She offered some snacks to our little boy . The rooms are clean and the service is excellent. The breakfast is rich and contains a lot of variety. We also highly recommend this hotel for its location as it is near to the bus stations, metro stations, restaurants, supermarket etc ...
Enjoyed a great stay at this hotel. The room was small but nicely furnished and very clean. The room had tea and coffee making facilities that were restocked each day. It was a short walk to a number of metro stations, and the immediate area had a lot of good bars.
This hotel is surprisingly good value for Paris. The rooms are small but well designed, well equipped and the showers are good. The hotel is five minutes walk (slightly uphill) to Pere Lachaise Metro station and there are lots of shops, supermarkets and cafes nearby. It is a modest but a friendly part of Paris and I found the reception staff very welcoming. The breakfast is in the French tradition of a small buffet, containing bread, cheese, fruit, cereals and tea and coffee. Finally, as there is not always a lot of space around the beds it may not be suitable for those with a disability. Well worth a visit.
We stayed here after finding a good deal on groupon for our quick mid week break. Close enough to the metro, rooms were pleasantly decorated and no smaller than more expensive Parisian rooms I've stayed in. Location was handy for central Paris and also for Disney with good connections running from Pete lachaise. Not the most picturesque area but plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. Breakfast was excellent and staff friendly, no complaints to be had
We were not sure what to expect when we first arrived at this hotel but it offered everything we needed for our short stay. The rooms are compact and clean...except for the stench of cigarettes in the room which I found vile. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in an area with easy access to bus and train transport links. Voltage is the nearest metro station and the 69 bus takes you to central Paris in approx 40 mins and the train takes less time. We found the bus routes to be scenic and seeing Bastille and the Louvre on the way to Champs de Mars was great. The famous Peres lachaise cemetery is 10 mins walk away and there is an abundance of various restaurants to choose from. The rooms have ac/heating. We stayed on the 3rd floor with a balcony window. The lift is very small with room for one person and luggage or two people without luggage. There is room service and the breakfast room was clean and a good size. Despite the cigarette fumes which did not go away when we opened the window, our stay was comfortable enough.
Clean hotel in walking distance of Père Lachaise and the Marais. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The girl at the desk was also smiling a lot, more than the obliged fake smile. This is something I heavily appreciate but miss in many who work in the (European) service industry (hotels, restaurants, bars, ...).
Really nice little hotel . Room was clean and functional . Good for one person . Bathroom was modern but on the small side .. perfect for a solo traveller as overall room was clean, modern and great location to metro.
This is a very good hotel with excellent friendly staff and also a good location close to bars and shops. It is also a fairly quiet street and also just five minutes walk from the Voltaire Metro Station.
