Every thing went well from check in to check out. The room was kept immaculately clean. The breakfast was typical and just fine to fill me up for the morning. I used the telephone from my room and called the U.S. for less than two dollars for a two minute call. Terrific if your cell phone isn't working in Europe. The single room was definitely larger than the rooms I have had in the popular Rue Cler area. It is a very good value away from the tourists. The neighborhood was Parisian in that there were pastry shops, bread shops, flower chops, delis, cheese shops, terrific restaurants and cafes. I enjoyed sitting at the café drinking coffee in the early evening watching the people in the small square which had a carousel for children.. The metro was two blocks away thus making it convenient to get everywhere.

The room was warm. We had to open the windows out to the street as there was no a/c. Noisy vehicles and pedestrians (almost the whole night) and the room was filled with vehicle exhaust fumes. On the first day, the bathroom reeked of sewage odor. Staff was relatively helpful.

Would've been a 3 star hotel, but my stay was poorly timed. There was work being done on the elevator so it was out of service, which really didn't bother me since my legs work fine, but the hammering and drilling at 8am was not ideal. Granted, this was not a problem with the hotel itself, so my review is likely skewed. Only other complaints were that the wifi was very slow and the walls are very thin. Location is pretty good, staff was nice and helpful, and the room was worth the money.

Staff proved very accommodating and friendly. Only downside was the corner room having spotty wifi versus other parts of the hotel (lobby excellent signal).

Great & convenient location, walking distance to Metro, Gare du Nord (main train station), shops, and City bike rental station. Staff is very helpful & friendly. It's not a 5-star hotel, but for the price & the location in the heart of Paris, it's a good place to stay.

This was a very good value for Paris, which is expensive. The location was good and accessible to other areas. The room was good, and the WIFI was reliable and clear. I recommend this.

Not the best hotel in Paris, but an adequate place to spend the night.

Reading some reviews online scared me but once I arrived I realized that many times reviews aren't a fair representation. The staff was great. We skipped breakfast in the hotel for a bakery down the street. Although it is in Pigalle, it is not in the middle of a red light district. The metro station is 2 blocks away and it's very easy to get to all places of interest from there.

The room was very plain and bare. There was not so much as a kettle provided. By looking around on foot, you will find better hotel deals than those available online. It was not bad for a two-star hotel, but it was advertised as a three-star and I wouldn't say it met that standard.

the hotel was ok everything was extra the internet the breakfast. Some of the staff was very friendly and some showed they did not like Americans and weren't helpful at all. Requested a 2nd floor room when we got there no rooms were avaiable except on the 1st floor in the back of the hotel we felt like it was in the alley very disappointed would not stay there again.

It was a nice hotel, with spacious rooms (for Paris). Clean with courteous staff and a good location near Sacre Coeur. The area was quite nice as well. A bit of a walk to the river but nothing you can't handle. We chose to walk through to lovely street then go the underground Metro route.

The hotel has a great location with connections to METRO & BUS which with the PARIS VISITE card helped our family to go visit all what we wanted. The staff is friendly and really helpful and all requests were answered the best posible way.We did appreciate [...],[...],[...] as well as the cleaning staff which did every single day agreat job.It is more to say but as a note I want to inform you that we've been really happy. As a note and this is not taking from anything we've liked there maybe a small fridge in each room will help .Thank you guys

The hotel's location isn't near the most desirable location (it's off the red light district, Pigalle) but in the daytime, it's not so bad. The concierge staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are on the small side but they are relatively clean. In all, for someone who is not in the room most of the time and explore Paris, this hotel is not a bad place to stay. It provides you a decently clean room and a private bathroom.

We spent one night. Clean place, not far from metro Place Pigale.
