Hotel located in quiet street, but good access to Le Marais, Les Halles, Latin Quarter, Seine and famous places of interest to sightseers such as Notre Dame, Louvre, shops, cafes/restaurants, bars. Would definitely stay here again. Staff very helpful. Didn't need to check out until 12 noon if needed. Room not overly large, but beautifully appointed, with air conditioning, and long windows that open onto a Juliet balcony. Very smart bath/shower ensuite, a good size room. All plenty big enough for a long weekend break. Hotel extremely clean throughout. Delicious breakfast, something for everyone. Hotel calm and quiet. Nice bar area and indoor garden to sit in.
Rooms were smaller but very comfortable. Service was excellent and the front seat was both helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh. Located a short block off the main boulevard kept it quiet and easy to sleep. I would definately come back and recommend this facility to my friends
We were in Paris late June 2017 and stayed at this hotel, it Is located in a very quiet land just off a main Boulevard so very close to metro and bus. The hotel is a little dated but charming and clean. Our room was upgraded after I had requested a shower, most rooms have a large bath only. We had wanted to stay in Le Marais area, the hotel was not really in the heart of it but there were plenty of excellent bistros and cafes close by. Breakfast was good. Stay overall was very pleasant.
I had a great overnight stay at this hotel and the pillows were amazing. As a result, I slept for 13.5 hours and the breakfast in bed room service was fabulous. Highly recommend this hotel with friendly and efficient staff right next to the historic Place des Vosages alongside trendy bars, restaurants and fashion boutiques.
One of my favorite hotels in Paris. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is decorated and themed beautifully. It's centrally located but on a small side street so our stay was very quiet. Highly recommend.
It is a nice little hotel in Marais which is a very interesting part of Paris! So, the location is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and room service is very good. The hotel is a bit old but charming.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel - the room had a queen bed but was not overly cramped like other places we've stayed in Paris. The bathroom was spacious and featured a full sized bathtub with shower. It had been recently updated. The room was also carpeted, although the carpet was rather thin and appeared old. The room also had a small refrigerator/mini-bar. The hotel also had a small fitness room that I used daily - recumbant stationary bike, stair stepper, bench, some weights, an exercise ball, plus a TV and water cooler. The buffet breakfast was nice but pricey (19 euros), but the hotel offered two less expensive options, including a 9 euro "to go" breakfast in a bag, that included a couple of croissants, a can OJ or bottle of water, hot drink (tea, coffee, hot chocolate), a carton of yogurt, and some cookies. The "express breakfast" was 7 euros. The hotel was is a good location in the Marais about 25 minutes walk from Notre Dame. There are several restaurants, and many other services (like a laundromat) within a 5-minute walk. The staff was excellent- bilingual, helpful and friendly - making every effort to meet a bar needs. I asked for bag of ice to treat my knee (just had a knee replacement 10 weeks ago), and they brought one to me daily, no charge. The free wi-fi was painless and met our needs. We had originally planned on staying in another hotel (the D'win) for the second half of our trip, but changed our reservation after touring the D'win, so we ended up staying 9 nights in the Villa Beaumarchais.
The staff were all wonderful. Very nice and helpful with directions and anything I needed. Dimitri spent over a 1/2 hour trying to print my Disneyland tickets. They gave great metro directions and made phone calls for us. The breakfast was yummy and plentiful. I had the smallest room they offer and it was comfortable and very clean. My only complaint was the a/c didn't make the room "cold", but the great french windows allowed the outside air to cool the room quickly. The location is perfect! We walked to The Louvre, Notre Damn and all restaurants.
A pleasant hotel very well located in the Marais - close to shops, delis, restaurants and two Metro stops. However it did feel more like 3 star than 4 star. The room was attractive but cupboards swung open unless banged shut, and there was limited shelving in bedroom or bathroom. The bed was good and quality sheets. Staff on reception were pleasant and spoke English well, but were not able to be very helpful on restaurant recommendations and the like. When we were there the second floor was being renovated, so some noise during the day. The breakfast room is spacious. Breakfast was included and had both continental and cooked buffet, but of average quality.
Perfect spot in the heart of Marais neighbourhood. Friendly staff, easy access, great room - a lot bigger than we expected (based on past stays in Paris). Great value for the money. Just a walk up to Beaumarchais for catching the subway, bus. Lots of great restaurants and shops to explore within a 5-10 minute walk. While there are renovations going on you would never know it. Loved being close to the hustle and bustle of the city but on a quiet street. Felt very safe.
