What a wonderful hotel, clean, easy to access, within walking distance of Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower, Metro and Opera House. The staff were absolutely awesome, breakfast adequat and the snack bars were a plus point. The availablity of these snck bars at the other hotels in the group throughout Paris was a bonus. I will definitely stay there again.
The hotel was just what I was looking for. Well located walking distance to Champs Elysees and Opera and very close to a metro station. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Decent breakfast. What more could you ask for! My only complaint is that they don't have any hotels outside Paris. Would definitely recommend!
Everything about the hotel was great. The staff were great, informative and helpful. The location was perfect, the surrounding area was good, safe and close to the metro but most of all it made walking to most sites possible. The breakfast was good and the variety made for different choices which helped fuel us for the day and if you wanted to visit their other hotels you can take advantage of there snack bars. We were their for three days and we would stay there again.
Stayed her for 3 nights and received a quiet room upon request which was quite spacious by Paris standards. Staff were friendly and all requests were attended to promptly. The snack bar available until 2am is a nice touch. Would recommend
Lovely eclectic hotel, newly done. Well located. Very comfortable. Loved the decor. Accommodating and helpful staff. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but otherwise we loved it! We were on the 4th floor. Facing outside. Was a bit noisy.
After researching hotels for our first visit to Paris, I chose this one and was so happy I did. Part of the Astotel chain of hotels, it is located behind the St. Augustin Chruch on a side street, so make sure you know where you are going, as we got a bit turned around trying to find it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is close to many of the Paris sights whether by foot, bus, or the nearby Metro stations- St. Augustin and St Lazare. There are many places to eat nearby. One afternoon we went to La Coquine Gourmande, and took our food to go to the beautiful Parc Monceau, which is a less than 10 minute walk from the hotel. We stayed on the 4th floor in a corner room. There is no closet and we had to leave our bags on the floor. A bit on the small side, but as is the case of alot of Paris hotels. The room was so cozy though and the bed decent sized and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and the shower was great. The room, and the whole hotel was very clean. There is only one elevator or you can use the spiral staircase, which was unique in itself. The room also has a mini fridge which is stocked every day with water, sparkling water, juice, and soda; a very nice perk! We also thoroughly enjoyed the daily breakfast. A nice variety of breads, fruits, meats and cheeses, yogurts and hot items such as eggs, quiche, potatoes, and such. Every afternoon the eating area is kept stocked with snacks, drinks, and an espresso machine. If you happen upon another Astotel hotel in your journeys in the city you can show your room key and a pass which allows you to enjoy their refreshment bar as well. We stumbled upon the Astotel Joke hotel, it was also very lovely and we enjoyed the art and retro vibe of this hotel as well. It was nearby the Moulin Rouge, and it was great pit stop to recharge and use the restroom, and enjoy a cup of espresso, snacks, and water. I really enjoyed staying at Hotel Augustin, I would highly recommend it, and would stay here again, or perhaps even try one of the other Astotel hotels.
Hotel Augustin had a very welcoming staff. From the moment we walked we were pleasantly surprised by the decor and layout. The free snack bar near the lobby is open from 10 AM until 2 AM which is very handy. The in room wet bar had 3 x bottles of water (2 x still; 1 x sparkling); 1 x orange juice, and 1 x pepsi which were refilled daily during room service. The location is conveniently located near almost everything you might want to do in Paris (as long as what you want to do involves all the tourist attractions!) The parking on the street is ample if you rent a scooter, if you rent a car there would be difficulty finding a parking spot. There is also an airport shuttle service for 18 euro / person but must be booked ahead of time. Otherwise there is both a nearby train station and bus station within easy walking distance. As for nearby shopping and eating: Highly recommend trying Tuk Tuk Thai just down the street, but be sure to make reservation. The monoprix is about a block away and you can purchase any last minute items you may have forgotten. If you need to find a Boulangerie (bakery) quickly, Thierry Marx was really good. My wife and I intend to book her against next time we visit for sure.
We stayed at Hotel Augusin for 7 nights in September 2017. The service provided by the staff was excellent in every way. We always had free bottled water in our room mini fridge and the staff went out of their way to assist us. The hotel was located close to 2 metro stations and this made it very convenient to get around. Thank you so much. We would highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is beautifully decorated in a retro style. They have a great snack bar available in the afternoon and until 2am which is free. They also provide water and soft drinks in the room free of charge. We found the staff very friendly and helpful.
I regularly stay at the Hotel Augustin when I am in Paris and I will continue to do so in the future. Great central location, great newly renovated rooms, great friendly staff and more than I can write.
