Some of the staff here were excellent and some not so much. It seemed like anytime you wanted to use something, there was an additional charge. They tried to charge us for four people when we only had three. I made them refund the difference and it was painfully slow, and they kept trying to give us reasons why we should be paying for four people. Whatever. The rooms are very, very small. I'm thin and the shower was tight. A large person could not fit into it. The location is decent but not close to most of the attractions. Plan to walk a whole lot of be getting cabs.
Just came back from Paris. This hotel was amazing. It is located in a good area. 3 minute walk from the metro station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made my stay very enjoyable. They helped me book a dinner at the Eiffel Tower on the same day which seemed impossible! The hotel was extremely clean and quite. They have an open bar with water, coffee, coke and other snacks. Ill definetely come back to this hotel on my next visit.
We had a wonderful experience at Hotel George Opera and would definitely stay there again. The staff was very friendly, the beds were comfortable and rooms very clean. We appreciated the free snack bar that was available between 1 and 9 every day. The neighborhood was very quaint, safe and not touristic. It was very convenient to access the St. George metro station which was a quick 2-3 block walk down Rue Notre Dame de Lorette.
This hotel was everything I wanted. Well-run, with a friendly, knowledgeable staff that helped me get maximum benefit from my short stay. Close to St. Georges Metro station and restaurants.
One of our best experience in Paris so far! The staff is great and very helpful especially Zinedine, thank you again! The only "problem" we had was the noise made by people walking through the hallway in the morning but that's about it. We will definitely go back there but we will ask for a different room away from the stairs and elevator. For the price of the room, wifi and breakfast aren't free but they offer snacks and drinks every afternoon from 2pm to early evening. Perfect place for a short stay in Paris! I already recommended this hotel to a friend of mine.

Our room was very quiet with 4 English language cable news channels on TV so we were able to watch the opening arguements in the Conrad Murray trial.
Paris is expensive in the summer. This hotel was fine. Clean and functional. I had a superior room (hoping for some quiet). But people walking up and down the stairs were incredibly loud. I could hear everything happening nearby. Small rooms and standard beds. It was fine, location convenient to the Montmartre and Opera districts. But I wouldn't look forward to going back. I would work harder to find something nicer.
