The hotel staff were hands down the friendliest and most welcoming staff!! Room and bathroom both a good size and exceptionally clean. Metro stop is a very short walk away even though it was a bit crazy trying to do the metro in a wheelchair. Monoprix at the end of the street so great for getting lunch and heading out for a day seeing the city. Hotel is in a quiet safe area. Great Korean restaurant a few streets away called Sodam. Would I stay again? Without a doubt!
Staff were the highlight of this place. They were kind and considerate, always had time to talk and get us a taxi if we needed it. The room was clean and comfortable, brilliant size given we had asked for a superior suite. Even a nespresso machine which was a lovely touch! Gorgeous bathroom, lovely lounge, and we loved the Montparnasse neighbourhood. Very bohemian! Easy access to the metro, plenty of places to eat. We loved it. Would definitely go back!
Staff is extremely accomodating, rooms are clean and nicely furnished. If you fear noise from the elevator do not take room 01. Room 11 has its own little deck. Good quality/ price ratio. Will definitely go back to this hotel
A hidden gem located at a well equipped neighbourhood with supermarket, pharmacy and nearby a few metro stops away from the one best croissant stalls in paris. Its not too far away from the effiel tower and also within a 20 min bus ride to the lourve. Kudos to the helpful staff at the hotel who are always ready to help. I am very appreciative of the service for me and my fiancee's stay at the hotel. The beds are comfortable and good tv system. A few points for feedback, for the bath tub maybe the glass panel could be slightly wider so that the water wont splatter over when one is using the shower and also have some instructions on how to set the tv to english audio will be helpful for tourist like me. Thank you and keep up the good work.
We arrived very late in the evening for our two night stay at the Fred Hotel. We were welcomed warmly. We loved our room on the top (6th) floor. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean. There was a store right around the corner. The neighborhood is delightful, full of little shops and cafes. The staff was very accommodating and kind. They even let us borrow an umbrella for a day when it was raining. They also loaned us plates and silverware so that we could eat our breakfasts in the room every morning from what we bought at the store around the corner. However, you can eat breakfast in their little dining area for a few euros. The metro is only 2 blocks away. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again. Thank you Fred Hotel. You were fabulous!
Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Fred Hotel. Room was clean and tidy, small but adequate with everything you require for a city break. Staff were fantastic and spoke English well. They assisted us with our travel plans, bookings and recommendations for dining. Felt staff went over and above their duties to help us. Would definately recommend.
We picked Fred Hotel as it was in an area of Paris we had not stayed in before. From the pictures online we expected to like the modernity...We were not disappointed then when we arrived we were warmly welcomed.by the Reception staff...We met four individuals and all tried to make to feel "at home". For travellers the main issue is Bed/sleep quality "Excellent", next is bathroom facilities the double sized shower was a special item that worked wonders in our estimation. Full stocked with all appropriate items....far better than average ! Cleanliness was also first-class. So Great Value all round..There is a room by room renovation underway.
Fred hotel is located in an exciting neighborhood in Paris 14th endorsement. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The hotel is located close to the metro, going to the Eiffel or Louvre is just a small metro trip away. Tasty and inexpensive meals are available in the surrounding area. I would recommend the Italian restaurant close to the hotel. The staff and manager at Fred know the true value of customer service, they will help you with any issues you are encountering during your stay in Paris. The property was modern, aesthetically pleasing and kept extremely clean. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are modern, open and have the amenities you would expect. The bed is comfortable. I recommend this hotel to everyone, who is looking for an enjoyable stay, great food, and excellent hospitality in Paris.
The hotel is an awesome place, staff are very helpful n always willing to go above and beyond, and they all speak English so it's perfect for the people who can't speak French or just a little, I stopped for a long weekend n it was brilliant perfect location and it's only a stones throw away from the metro, I'm booking for next year and would recommend it to anyone it's a perfect hotel n it's one off the best three star places I've ever stayed in
So how much you like this hotel depends on which type of room you get. The is basically small, medium, and large. Frugal at first I went with the Small version and this was a mistake, at least for me. I was here for 7 night stay and the room was barely large enough for the bed, 5 strides across and only 3 deep. Understated to say it was small. This is not my first trip to Europe so I was accustomed to quite small rooms and elevators, but this one fell within the lowest 10% I recall seeing. But the front desk folks there are very friendly and helpful and eventually got me the large version for €30 more. For the size, this was a much more workable size room. The bed was firm and adequate even if not "enveloping" like some are. Good night's sleep was had every night. Bathroom was sufficient sized although the arrangement of the shower head was a little screwy. Breakfast was typical European, nothing really hot. One big concern is security and to that two points. First, my Safe was locked when I checked in, went down to front, the guy pulled a box out of a desk drawer and had me open in under 2 minutes. While I was grateful to get the safe open, this was just way toooo easy. Second was basic room access. Here these guys are still working in a 20th century mindset. Mechanical keys are used and are tied to a large key ring with the number indicated on the end. Coming back after my first day back a new person was at the front desk, never had seen me, and all I needed to obtain the key was the room number, no ID, nothing. I kept the key on my person the rest of my stay. So I'd likely not stay here again for the reasons cited.
