Hotel was clean and comfortable and the front desk very friendly. Bit further out than we usually stay but the walking helped burn off the gorgeous rich French food! The area is quite diverse with lovely restaurants and cafes juxtapositioned (is that a word) with the winos but I guess that is city living. Good value for the room size.
We stayed for two nights last weekend. Our room was small but clean, the shower was very small, fine for myself and partner but larger people would struggle. We didn't have breakfast, the room was cleaned on our first day. The fruit of house staff were lovely very helpful throughout our stay. Providing thugs like an iron on request, printing boarding passes and keeping our luggage after checkout for us. The location is great, easy to navigate to and from the airport on public transport and just a short walk from the metro station. lots to do in the area in terms of cafes and restaurants. very happy would stay again.
The hotel reception were very friendly. Rooms were very clean & lovely decor. Bathroom was a good size. There was a variety for Breakfast, it was served in the basement which was felt like a cellar with a nice atmosphere. All the staff we met were friendly & helpful. Good location with many bars & restaurants. Not too far from the main attraction. Would come to this hotel again.
Long story short, my room smelled like mildew (making me wonder about water damage) and the bathroom had a shower leak that management refused to fix. This place is a cheap pension with a new paint job, not up to the standards of even the most basic Best Western in the US.
We had a pleasant stay. The hotel is small but nice the staff is ever helpful . The room and bathroom was neat and clean. The breakfast was not lavish but we had hot eggs with hot crossiants juice coffee / tea and accompaniments like cheese fruit jams honey etc. The area is quiet but within walking distance of the Republique square with restaurants and small stores along the way.
Very happy with our choice to stay here (we found it based on using miles and dollars to pay for the room). Front desk was very friendly and helpful (even loaning us a personal umbrella one day). Tuesday/Saturday Popincourt Market in the middle of Richard Lenoir is a treat. Our top floor front room was just fine if a bit small, and the shower a little awkward to use. The hotel is clean, well cared-for, quiet, and within easy walking and public transport access. Several very good restaurants in the neighborhood, and easy access to public laundromat nearby. Highly recommended.
Very good location - near to the Oberkampf subway, quiet zone, many stores and restaurants, ok for walking by step (near is Republique and Place des Vosges - 6 min). Nice staff. The room was small, every day was cleaned. Don't have toothpaste and the hairdryer did not work properly. The breakfast was good: omelette, boiled egg, jams, coffee, juices, cheese, bacon, cereals, yogurt, dehydrated fruits, very good bread with seeds. Request credit card as a guarantee for your stay.
The hotel is small but clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. The amenities are new. The wifi is iffy - altho I couldn't tell if it was just my American phone rejecting the European network... It's in a great location. Restaurants and Patisseries super close. Metro a block away. Pretty quiet. Highly recommend for the value!
Me and my husband spent 3 nights in this hotel in Paris. Our stay was very good from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff of the hotel. The room was on the 5th floor and even though it was quite small it was always clean and the bathroom was also clean and tidy. The price was more than reasonable and we can't really fault anything about the stay. The breakfast buffet was very complete and had a great variety. Great little hotel!
I stayed for a night Sunday/Monday with the intention of using the hotel as a base from which to explore Paris on foot. It's really well located, not too far from either Gare du Nord, the Marais or the central Paris sights like the Louvre. In fact I didn't need to use the Metro at all during my stay which was a nice bonus - everywhere I wanted to go, including the left bank, was within walking distance. Staff were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful in all regards - thank you so much for making a brief stay so easy! The room itself was small but clean and well appointed with a petite but functional en suite. Breakfast was pretty decent and fairly priced - I really liked the 'express' option which presented particularly excellent value. No minibar which suited me fine but could be an issue for others. I'd highly recommend this hotel as a budget option for a Parisian minibreak!
