We had a pleasant stay. The hotel is small but nice the staff is ever helpful . The room and bathroom was neat and clean. The breakfast was not lavish but we had hot eggs with hot crossiants juice coffee / tea and accompaniments like cheese fruit jams honey etc. The area is quiet but within walking distance of the Republique square with restaurants and small stores along the way.

Very happy with our choice to stay here (we found it based on using miles and dollars to pay for the room). Front desk was very friendly and helpful (even loaning us a personal umbrella one day). Tuesday/Saturday Popincourt Market in the middle of Richard Lenoir is a treat. Our top floor front room was just fine if a bit small, and the shower a little awkward to use. The hotel is clean, well cared-for, quiet, and within easy walking and public transport access. Several very good restaurants in the neighborhood, and easy access to public laundromat nearby. Highly recommended.

Very good location - near to the Oberkampf subway, quiet zone, many stores and restaurants, ok for walking by step (near is Republique and Place des Vosges - 6 min). Nice staff. The room was small, every day was cleaned. Don't have toothpaste and the hairdryer did not work properly. The breakfast was good: omelette, boiled egg, jams, coffee, juices, cheese, bacon, cereals, yogurt, dehydrated fruits, very good bread with seeds. Request credit card as a guarantee for your stay.

The hotel is small but clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. The amenities are new. The wifi is iffy - altho I couldn't tell if it was just my American phone rejecting the European network... It's in a great location. Restaurants and Patisseries super close. Metro a block away. Pretty quiet. Highly recommend for the value!

Me and my husband spent 3 nights in this hotel in Paris. Our stay was very good from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff of the hotel. The room was on the 5th floor and even though it was quite small it was always clean and the bathroom was also clean and tidy. The price was more than reasonable and we can't really fault anything about the stay. The breakfast buffet was very complete and had a great variety. Great little hotel!

I stayed for a night Sunday/Monday with the intention of using the hotel as a base from which to explore Paris on foot. It's really well located, not too far from either Gare du Nord, the Marais or the central Paris sights like the Louvre. In fact I didn't need to use the Metro at all during my stay which was a nice bonus - everywhere I wanted to go, including the left bank, was within walking distance. Staff were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful in all regards - thank you so much for making a brief stay so easy! The room itself was small but clean and well appointed with a petite but functional en suite. Breakfast was pretty decent and fairly priced - I really liked the 'express' option which presented particularly excellent value. No minibar which suited me fine but could be an issue for others. I'd highly recommend this hotel as a budget option for a Parisian minibreak!

We loved our stay here. The hotel room was very special with a mural on the wall. Lovely area with young bars and restaurants. The male receptionist as very chatty and helpful. Great English. We found our way easily to the city.

Great little hotel at a pretty good price. We are a family of 4 that stayed recently in January. Wanted a family room but it was taken so gave us two room side by side, which worked. Rooms are a little on the small side, but very clean and recently redecorated. Beds are comfortable and the free wifi was good. No mini bar/ fridge, which didn't bother us. Breakfast was good. Hotel is In a reasonable location, could walk most places and has two metro stations close by. Staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Would happily recommend this hotel and for the same price stay here again.

I booked at Saint Martin Bastille because I was looking for a hotel in the Marais area, and I found a low price at Best Western. It was a good choice. The hotel is small and well located close to the Marais. Metro is like 7mn walk away, the bus stop is closer. And the bus number 96, can take you directly to the major Paris attractions. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom of decent size but there are no bathroom amenities. Just soap and shampoo. Our room was at the second floor and on the street side, so we could hear the outside noises. The personnel is very helpful and polite. The breakfast has a correct selection of eggs, French pastries and cakes, cold cuts, juices, coffee... It's a good budget basic clean hotel.

I talked with the hotel staff about booking a room 4 months prior to the reservation date at a discount rate. 10 days later, when the payment was made (still 3,5months before the reservation date), the hotel staff asked me to pay extra for the room when there were still several other rooms available. This is straight extortion and deserves condemnation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
