Came here for a conference at the Institut Curie. Short 10-min walk to the institute. The difference between average and very good is its proximity to the Metro station and the selection of restaurants/boulangeries around. Best part is its location to the Pasteur station which is just adjacent to it and it's in the neigbourhood of nice eateries. In fact, came back to the hotel late every night and was a short walk from our dinner as we kept eating around the hotel. There was an Indian grocer and Indian restaurant (also in my review) just next door. Travelling all around Paris was truly convenient because of the location to the metro. Only thing is the rooms were really small and the amenities were not good. Plus our card to the rooms didn't work a couple of times. However the female receptionist was wonderful and friendly. Breakfast (not included as part of the hotel cost) is served at the lobby floor,. However it's worth exploring the boulangerie. Highly recommended to walk two streets to the Boulangerie Patisserie Foulon. Overall a good stay for travelling due to location and receptionist service although i would prefer if the rooms were bigger with more amenities provided,

My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights at the Avia Saphir Montparnasse last week. It is always a bit worrying when going to stay somewhere new but our fears were quashed as soon as we arrived. The reception staff are so welcoming. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed, duvet and pillow ever! It was quiet as it was at the back of the building and lovely and warm. The breakfast was superb. We had breakfast delivered to our room at no extra charge and the choice was amazing and served by the loveliest, cheeriest ladies! The hotel is situated in a prime position......right next door to a metro station and a fabulous cocktail bar. There are many places in the area to eat and drink and it is very easy to get to other parts of the city from here. We will never go anywhere else in Paris now and highly recommend the Avia Saphir Montparnasse to everyone!

We liked everything about this hotel EXCEPT the internet was horrible!!!! We discovered upon checkout that we should have called the front desk and let them know as they may have been able to fix this. Oh well, lesson learned for next time! Otherwise, location is perfect! The Pasteur Cafe on the corner is fabulous for breakfast and dinner!!! Service is good and they offer coffee and croissants to go! Walking to the eifell tower is easy or the bus and metro are steps away! We will definatly consider staying here on our next visit to Paris!

Firstly the location of this hotel is perfect. Short walking distance to the Eiffel tower(and many other landmarks), it is actually visible from the corner of the street. Metro line station just 30 seconds away from hotel door. And plenty of places to eat in surrounding area really bad Wi-Fi if need to use it for work or for personal usage Had picked this place because it had a lift, was not prepared for the lift stopping between floors and had to lug the baggage up and down the stairs. The stairs were narrow and spiral so had the risk of falling off when handling baggage. and i didn’t understand why I'm supposed to leave my card at the desk any time I leave the hotel i asked for single double bed room but they gave me a twin bed room. when i came with my friend they told me i will be charged +20 euro i didn’t understand why as well since i got the room and i have the right to stay alone or with some else.

Great small hotel and excellent calue for money. Clean room, small but decorated with style. Recommended for solo/couple travellers wishing to spend a low budget night while enjoying a decent experience

Stayed for 4 nights. Nice hotel, comfortable cosy room. Exceptionally clean, excellent room service. Elevator stops between the floors - so there will be walking down or up one flight of stairs. Although the room overlooked the main street, it was quiet.

Stayed here for 3 nights, for my usual Paris trip. Good location as I like Montparnasse area. Only problem with Hotel is that the breakfast was poor compared to my usual Paris stays. Room was adequate, as Paris rooms are small.

I liked this hotel a lot. The staff is friendly and helpful and it was very clean. Plus, it is easy to get to main touristic attractions. I would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it to my friends.

The hotel is good value for money. Breakfast is not great but is plentiful. The rooms are cozy, the cleaning can be improved, but it is still acceptable. The hotel is near the Pasteur metro and is very well connected to the city. I was very good

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in July 2017. This was our second trip to Paris having previously staying in the 9th Arr. and picked this hotel as a base to explore the sights on this side of the river this time. The hotel is small but in an excellent location with very easy access to the metro, 100m away and a bus stop which is 10m from the front door. We arrived late at night at CDG airport and it was very straightforward to get to the hotel using the Roissy bus to Opera and then the Metro system to Pasteur station. We could see the hotel ahead of us as we left the metro and were met by the night porter who was very helpful and processed our check in very quickly. When making the booking we had asked for a room overlooking the street but were assigned room 207 on the second floor at the back. Upon enquiring we could have changed to a street facing room but decided to stay at the back and it proved to be a good decision because it was very quiet and made for a great nights sleep. As it was very warm at night and there wasn't any air conditioning, being at the back also meant we could sleep with the windows open to get a nice cool breeze through the room without being disturbed by the noise from the street. Although the room was on the small side it had everything we needed as a for our long weekend. The bed and pillows were really comfy and there was always plenty of hot water and towels that were changed daily in the bathroom. The only downside we found was that the shower cubicle was very small and difficult to access because of a 3 section sliding door. We are mid-framed people and found it awkward but I doubt if a larger person would be able to access it at all. Although breakfast was available in the hotel we chose not to use this service (so can't comment) because there are many restaurants, cafes and bakeries nearby which suited us on this trip. The building itself is quite quirky and although there is lift access to all floors it stopped mid way between landings and you then needed to go either down, as in our case, or up several steps on a spiral staircase to access you room which may prove tricky for someone with mobility issues. Overall we had a great stay in clean, comfortable surroundings and for the price we will certainly have no hesitation in using the hotel again on future trips.
