The property is very nice. We stayed in a recently renovated room. We discovered that the shower mechanism had been installed backwards--cold was hot, hot was cold. They will fix it when we leave/left.

Nice stay— some construction going on— but not at night. Old motor court— small, but nice. Desk staff was amazing. First guy saw from cameras door key wasn’t working— and ran one out to us. Guy the next day was very friendly and visited with my husband as I was at Stanford in surgery. Just 5 minutes from hospital— so husband able to stay at motel until they called him I was in recovery— the main reason we chose Stanford Inn

The hotel staff is excellent and tried hard to meet our needs. We needed a downstairs unit and they were happy to find one for us. We were only there for one night as we had to be at the hospital early the next morning so we didn’t eat breakfast the next day. The motel is old but our unit was clean, had a refrigerator and a microwave and was reasonable.

Everything was great. It's a family owned since 1973. Still has that 70's look on the outside and some rooms still have that look. They are remodeling their rooms discreetly and they will be doing the same to the exterior. Neil is the owners so and he is very personable he also runs the front desk and is there for his customers. They also have adequate parking, ice machine and a very nice continental breakfast. A great stay.
