This is a nice little no frills motel for the price. It is perfect for any out-of-towners coming in for a hockey tournament as the Four Seasons Arena is literally across the street. It was quicker to walk from the hotel than to drive. I loved that. The motel is small. You could probably book the whole motel for a single hockey team. Rooms weren't perfect but they were clean and bug free. One minor negative is that the walls aren't too thick as I could hear the neighbor's TV sometimes.
We had driven lots of hours and needed a place to stop. Saw this and took it. The room itself was pretty clean. The tub and bathroom floor needed to be scrubbed. We have stayed in a couple worse places than this one. The price was cheep and we were tired. The couple who run the motel are very nice. If you just need a place to crash it's not awful. No bugs that's a plus.
Very clean rooms with all the amenities you would need. Comfortable bed, refrigerator, microwave. Super helpful owner and staff. Very friendly! Great price and very quiet motel. Smaller motel, which made it very cozy. We will definitely stay there again when we pass through Minnesota!
Typical of small town old-fashioned drive in motel. Not too clean, but not too bad. Updates have been done: newer faux marble vanity top, one-piece tub-shower enclosure (no mold or mildew), newer roof. I found the 3-ft by 3-ft wooden side table convenient. The TV was wall-mounted, so the full 6-ft length of the low dresser top was available so we could keep our suitcases open with everything handy. Breakfast of coffee, cold cereals, milk, sweet rolls, and fresh fruit available in the office. That was not mentioned when we checked in, so that was a pleasant surprise. Nice free place mat style map of Owatonna in the office. We relied on the map to get around town. Also, you can get a free copy of the local newspaper in the office.
Was on my way to Northern Minnesota after leaving Tulsa and needed a simple, no frills, low cost place. I love old pull up to the door motels. It's just easier to get stuff to the room and stuff you "forgot" out of the car. I found this place to be just fine. Wasn't the best but lord it certainly wasn't the worst. Manager/Owner checked me in quickly and gave me my key. The room was right in front of my car. Loved it. Clean room. Clean bed. One hard pillow. One softer and a surprisingly large tv for this type of hotel. For the $ it's worth your time to stay here.
The room was clean, great price and the owners were great. Flat screen tv, fridge and great internet access. I would stay again at this hotel. From the outside it is an older hotel but the inside is wonderful.
Older style motel located off the Interstate, south of downtown Owatonna. Near Cabellas and an Outlet Mall, this inexpensive motel includes a small breakfast in the cost of your room. Only thing I wished for was a hair dryer. Room did contain a microwave and mini-fridge.
I woke up in the morning of July 26th to find bed bugs in both of the beds and my grandson had been bitten. I notified the manager and he asked where we stayed before his motel. I said HOME. He stripped the beds and gave me a small refund. The air conditioner was loud.
I had to pay a little bit more for my stay this time but it was worth it. I had clean room and smelled fresh. My bed was like sleeping on a cloud and they remodeled the room I was in. Micro and Fridge Flat Screen TV with HD and new vanity top on the sink and do not forget the water pressure for the shower what away to wake up. They had coffee and tea and Continental breakfast which was nice. The service they provide makes you feel at home. Property looks clean and neat on the outside too. Food Laundry and Hyvee all within walking distance and who could not afford a little more walking. I will be back and would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Hope this helps you.
Stayed there with my wife and two kids I know everybody sees motel and shrieks but this place is very clean quiet affordable and nice I would highly recommend it the staff was very accommodating located right in the mix of Owatonna with shops and restaurants within walking distance
