Poor care since new ownership

Very outdated and not near as nice as it used to be. We used to stay here frequently like 8 years ago and it's clearly changed owners. The rooms aren't as clean and the breakfast isn't any good. It used to be a great place but we won't be going back.

Doors broken so entry to rooms all through front door making it difficult to get to your rooms if you had things to carry. Fire exits used to be regular exits they are now only emergecy exits at one end of building. Breakfast trying to get dispenser for waffle mixute cam out with waterwater

I’ve stayed here three times now mainly due to convenience, price and it being pet friendly as I travel with my dog often. I can appreciate that the hotel owners have made upgrades to the breakfast area and lobby and I do feel there is an effort made to be hospitable. There have been some maintenance issues that don’t seem to be a priority. Once the smoke detector in my room had been pulled out of the wall, wrapped in a plastic bag, and rubber banded shut and housekeeping must not have noticed this. The jacuzzi in my room had no plug for the drain so could not hold water. Management seemed perplexed as to how to fill the tub. The lobby bathroom has been out of order all three times I’ve stayed there. The first time I tried to check in, no one was at the desk, no one responded when I rang the bell or called the hotel phone and I waited for at least 10 minutes until someone came from down the hall carrying a plate of food.

Stayed in a family suite,it was huge (separate bedrooms)and very clean.Service was fast and easy.some things need updating inside hallways but not a big deal.Would stay here again(probably do family suite because of the separate bedrooms.

First room they gave me had poop in the toilet and a broken shower. Second room had blood stains on two pillows and I woke up with some kind of bug bite on my neck. Third room they gave me had a non working tv. The fourth room was in decent condition but had no towels. My stay way 3 nights long. I will never stay here again.

Rooms were decent size. TV in room seemed small for the space. Bed could be replaced, as it was sloped towards the middle. Hot tub water was a gray/green color and foamed when ran. Suana was not even warm, let alone hot. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Good Hotel

This is the second time we have stayed here at the Cobblestone in Faribault. The people and staff are fantastic. They are attentive when ever there is an issue. The breakfast is different every day, though still very basic, but good. The one issue is the rooms are in desperate need of an update. That would be our only complaint. We will stay again, as we have family in town, but think a remodel is overdue!
