Nice outside common area for relaxing. Very clean. Rooms were quite cramped but the bed was comfortable. I also wonder if indirect reservations (e.g., through Expedia) get less desirable rooms. Our room was down a dark exterior hallway and our view was of the hallway wall. Just about every other room at the hotel had great views of the surrounding mountains. That was very disappointing given that we reserved it over a month in advance.

Overall it was a really enjoyable stay at the Matterhorn. It was quiet, the rooms were clean and well appointed, and there were plenty of great restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The only thing I think prospective visitors need to know is that while it is a resort town, it looked like there was only one bar open past 10pm. All the other shops/restaurants close around 9pm or so. Other than that, the stay was amazing and the mountain views were absolutely stunning!

Room was small, but clean. My biggest complaint is the breakfast. You receive a coupon to a mexican restaurant. I would have preferred a continental breakfast over the coupon, or at least offer coupons to various restaurants.

Great location less than a block off the main street. Good parking, clean! Only downside is our room was quite small including the bathroom.

Room and bathroom very clean and well maintained. Room rather small if staying more than a few days. However, there is a group seating area with hot tub. Breakfast is included at a nearby restaurant, Mi Mexico, that we found to be quite satisfactory.
