Just okay. Pretty expensive for dated, somewhat run down accommodations. No staff available to serve breakfast at 8am. No air conditioning.

No AC rooms are in bad shape never going there again

We absolutely LOVED the view!!! The room was clean & the breakfast well above average

This hotel has an amazing view of the harbor and the Astoria bridge. The hotel itself is in need of a little TLC. Our door stuck so we had to full body push it in, there was a little mold starting in the bathroom, and the carpet was very dirty. The room did have a beautiful deck and again the view couldn’t have been better.

Staff was friendly, room was clean & quiet, breakfast was good ,Inn was situated near marina so the view of the Columbia was right nice, and most enjoyable from the balcony

Great staff!! Great view from our balcony of the boats

Fantastic view! And a nice continental breakfast...

Nice view of the marina, fresh chocolate chip cookies at check-in.

This is, unfortunately, a sad case of getting what you paid for. The rate was inexpensive, but what I get for that was, too: I heard every footstep from my upstairs neighbor. I heard every conversation in the parking lot outside my room. The WiFi was lackluster. The bath and shower were not updated from the original 1960s construction. I reserved two nights, but wound up eating the cost of the second night and staying elsewhere.

The bed was super comfortable. Our biggest gripe was that on the second day of a three day visit they forgot to clean our room. They just said they were too busy and did not offer to compensate us for the uncleaned bathroom, no new towels, etc.

The view out the window was amazing with the marina in the foreground and freighters coming and going beyond the breakwater. Accommodating staff.

Very quiet location, nice views. The only complaint was the bed was a little to firm.

Room has a great view of harbor and bridge. Also enjoyed the great view from the exercise facility on site. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend this motel.

We booked a fishing trip and this place was within walking distance and offered free parking while on our fishing trip.

A little dated, and surprised by the lack of air conditioning. Would have been OK if we had been able to open the sliding door to the balcony, but there was no screen, so the bugs made that impossible. Overall, the hotel was decent, great place to rest for the night!

I was really rooting for the Riverwalk Inn, especially because we prefer staying in local, charming places instead of the hotel chains. You can tell that the owners and staff of this property are trying and really care, but it might just be a lost cause. The lobby is nice, it looks like it was probably remodeled. The staff are trained well there, and there are nice touches like s'mores kits available to pick up in the lobby. In the rooms there's a typed up list of TV channels and a good selection of coffees and teas. The views can't be beat too I think most of the issues in the room stem from poor ventilation in the bathroom, so that even a 5 minute shower fogs up the bathroom (and really the whole room) for the rest of the day. The fan runs continuously when the lights are on, but it obviously doesn't work very well. This has resulted in mold or mildew all around the top of the bathroom and on all the grout as well. The bathroom vanity was also so slanted that most things that we tried to set there rolled off. The furniture in the room looks updated, but the whole room gets hot and stuffy from the steam from the showers, so we had to keep the door to the balcony open at all times, even over night. Which means our dog got to hear (and bark at) the fishermen all hours of the day and night (including at 2 AM when they were drunk and decided to knock on doors, then urinate into the river right in front of our room.) Overall we wouldn't stay here again unfortunately.

Lovely themed room and great view of marina! Amazing marine life!

We liked that checkin was super fast. The bed was super comfortable, the staff was super friendly and its close to.town. Also they have added a couple of really nice barbeque areas for guests and a gas firepit with nice seating

Hello Anonymous. I hope all is well. I must apologize for any issues you had while staying with us. We are an older property and since my company took over operations on November 2018, we have striven to bring it back to where it belongs. We have done upgrades in the WiFi, new TVs, furniture and many other things. We are installing new heaters this fall to replace the old baseboard heaters. We had new carpet and drapes planned for this winter, but sadly due to the pandemic, we will have to wait until next year. Our breakfast is served by our Front Desk and an attendant, so I am a little confused. When you have a free moment, please reach out to me directly. Thank you! :)

Hi Laci, Thank you, we are very sorry for any problems you had during your stay. The hotel itself was built in the late 60's. We went under new ownership in November of 2018 and have begun a whole hotel remodel. So far we have gotten all new furniture and 55 in TV's in all of the rooms. We have updated our wifi. We have started replacing the old sliding glass doors and plan on getting new wall mounted cadet heaters soon instead of those old base board heaters. We have a lot in store to bring this hotel back to its original glory! For the door however I have sent someone over there to take care of that stick! We hope you will come see us again the next time you are here in Astoria.

Hello, Anonymous, and thank you for the great feedback. I hope all is well, and am very sorry that you had these issues during your stay.
