I enjoyed my stay here. The bed was super comfy, and the tiny shower didn't bother me. The place is dated, but the amenities were nice. My only real disappointment was that there was no crab pizza. I had starved myself all day, in anticipation, but the Quincy onion was delicious. I also was not a fan of the phone app key. It would take up to five tries, sometimes, to get into the room.

A refreshing break from chain hotels

The Anchor Inn was a refreshing change from hotel chain accommodations. The only down sides were that there was no breakfast offered and I noticed a little bit of dirt along the wall in one of the bedrooms and under the couch (but nothing a quick vacuuming couldn’t fix—I think we had one of the pet-friendly rooms). But the rest of the rooms were clean, and there was enough space to comfortably fit our party of seven. As others have commented, the shower was extremely small, but it worked well. We didn’t see any managers or employees of the Inn (as far as I could tell), but we didn’t need to. Everything was in order and the amenities room had everything from extra towels and toilet paper, to ice, to DVDs that we could bring back to our room to watch. The overall quality of the facilities, the unique and welcoming atmosphere, the s'mores, the multiple fire pits, the amenities and activities, and the proximity to the beach (which was a couple of blocks away) all made the stay an experience that enhanced our trip to the Oregon coast (even without a pool!). My only regret was that we didn’t get to the Inn earlier to enjoy it more. If I ever get back to Lincoln City, I would enjoy staying there again.

We love this place. We come down every couple of years and have the best time. The staff are friendly and try to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. The quirky little cabins have everything you need. I tell you, the bed is the most comfortable we have ever slept on at a resort. The added touch of the smores, fire pits, the little restaurant with wonderful pizza make this a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

The grounds are pretty cool, with outdoor areas, fire pit, dog area. The room we had was a little rustic but fine. Make sure you download the app they text you. We didn’t and had to call someone to find out what room we were in and to provide access.

THE BEST HOTEL ON THE EAST COAST (That we stayed in in our travels all up the coast ...) I dont know where to start, ambience was incredible, it is a navy / ship themed hotel. The halls were lined with memorabilia. The rooms had two separate spaces, TVs that could log you into your personal streaming platforms (Why dont all hotels have this?! its 2025!!). The internet connection was the best i have seen all up the coast! 50MB+ The pizza restaurant and bar that is ran by the owner was phenomenal! It is really nice to have some good pizza and a beer after a long day of travel. The amenities were incredible, each room comes with a smores kit and there are bonfires outside. We ended up hanging out with other guests that we met at the fire and had a really good time! The amenity room had spare tooth brushes and paste and a number of other toiletries in a "just in case you forgot" scenario! Oh, they also had a cool selection of movies and board games to select and enjoy! I ended up enjoying V for Vendetta while my wife was catching up on her "reality" tv shows ... (Remember, two separated rooms per suit? they also had two TVs!)| Probably forgetting alot, but i would literally come back and spend a week in Lincoln City just because of this hotel.

Good Value for Money

The bed was comfortable. The living room had a good sofa and TV and sink. The bathroom space was a bit tight. The grounds would be a delight to children, so we are considering bringing our grandchildren back. Loved the atmosphere: art hanging in the hall, ship on the grounds. Staff very helpful.
