It was a nice place. We got a free up grade with an oecan view. It was beautiful. Thank you to the lady at the desk that checked us in. She was super nice. That should give her a raise lol

We didn’t have a balcony. The large view window is badly damaged. The seal is broken and you can’t see the ocean view. It looks like the two side windows were replaced but the main one wasn’t. We didn’t use the hot tub.

Since my last stay was two years ago, things had changed with the new ownership. I like the updates to the rooms. I don’t care for the pool hours being shortened and also was disappointed in no ice machine. overall experience was the same.

DO NOT stay here! this place is dirty, rude staff, very out dated. Staff dont care and will flat out lie to you on what they tell you. Staff told us towels/wash clothes in room and taking trash out but then never even did it. Room wasn't even clean when they checked us in to room. Men's underwear and shorts outside window, room was dirty, bathroom not even clean, etc. Coffee pot and fireplace didn't even work this weekend but staff never even said a word of them not working. Wouldn't waste a dime here again!

Ocean view was amazing. Even though fully booked the property was quiet. Staff was responsive to requests. Beds were comfortable and the table had four chairs. Cleanliness was less than. The sofa had sand on it as well as stains. The counters were dirty, we found a fake eyelash attached to our bathroom counter. The tabletop was sticky and worst of all the cup cupboard was full of dirt, spices and dead gnats.

Wow! factor when we walked into the room. Great veiw of the Pacific ocean. Asked for no stairs, got a ground floor room. Nice large King bed. 2 chairs for the table plus a comfy chair. Accessible bathroom with grab bars in bath and by the toilet Though you still had to step over the edge of the tub.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Check in was fast. The room (King Suite w/ Jacuzzi Tub) was a disappointment. The view was stunning, the ocean was right off of the balcony. The carpet by the bathroom was soaking wet and had a dirty fan pointing at it to dry it. The carpet in the living room was filthy and stained. The bed linens were tattered and falling apart. The cleaning staff must have rushed because we found a grocery bag, shopping receipt (dated 09/22/2025), and two 6 pack plastic rings in a kitchen drawer. The blinds were so dirty and dusty, as were the window tracks. They were full of mildew, dust and insect wings. Whomever stayed before us must have smoked on the patio as the whole patio was covered in ashes from cigarettes or whatever. Overall, the view was worth the price but the condition and cleanliness of the room was very bad. We didn’t use the jacuzzi tub based on the state of everything else.

Our stay far exceeded our expectations. It was so peaceful and beautiful that made our stay better than anticipated for a healing weekend with zero distractions and drama.

This hotel has seen better days. You can tell that it used to be really nice, but it is run down now. The sink in our room had obviously been replaced because there was a thumb sized gap between the sink and the counter where the shape of the new sink doesn't quite match the cutout from the old sink and you could just see the floor underneath. The wallpaper and paint were peeling, and the walls and furniture had multiple dings and gouges. It was fine for the price we paid. The hot tub and pool were nice, but a little more shabby and worn than the pictures. Most likely taken years ago when new. Room was clean though the floor had sand you could feel but couldn't see which is to be expected in a place right next to the ocean. Finding a place to park was crazy as we would arrive back late. There appeared to be more rooms than parking spots. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The view from the public beach access was breathtaking.
