Wonderful place

Our place was clean and roomy, loved that we had a front view of the ocean. Made a wonderful thanksgiving dinner for me and my family. Will definitely come back!

The hotel needs immediate remodeling on all levels but even that way it is right now it is a good place to stay.

What a view!

Pretty nice place to stay. Was a little unhappy when we first pulled up to see that the building was a full on hotel but after we got in and settled it was pretty good. The place was extremely clean and the view was fantastic!

Front row seat/ Kite Festival

Sea Gypsy is just north of the park where they hold the Festival. Our 3rd floor condo was an incredible view! Bed were great. Kitchen has everything!

The unit we stayed in was cozy with a great view but it needs remodeling. Also, there are way too many pieces of furniture. The kitchen and the swimming pool need remodeling as well! Overall, great stay!

Like Coming Home!

We started coming here after my Mom's passing 10 years ago. It is an annual tradition at this point. Driving up to the Sea Gypsy is like coming home to a familiar place of comfort and joy. Excellent location and wonderful hosts - love the way the key code is keyed especially for you so no need to meet with anyone to get access - we will see you again next year!

A perfect stay!

We loved our stay at the Sea Gyspy! The room was so clean and even nicer in person. It was very quiet. The ocean view was perfect. Even though it was the third floor we loved how close we were to beach access. We have two small children and License to Chill was a perfect room with the queen murphy bed in the living room for the parents and two twin beds in back for the kids to each have their own bed. The pool was really nice and we used it as often as possible. I took advantage of the credit card operated laundry room and it was great to have. We absolutely would come back and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Lincoln City!

Nice little place

My sister and I stayed three nights for rock hounding. This unit was all we needed for our stay. Beautiful view of the ocean and equipped with everything we needed. We cooked our meals and found everything we needed. The Murphy bed is a great way to go in the living room. Way easier than pulling our a couch hide a bed and way more comfortable. It’s is a little firm but better than a bar in your back lol. The electric fireplace was a bonus. I will definitely rent this unit again. Thank you for the use.

Such a nice retreat for me during my sorrow time

All in all was in good condition except the hot water was never enough. One skillet was dirty and one table by the window was terribly unstable. Other than that, I felt peaceful watching the ocean and drawing closer to God. Thanks for allowing me stay at ur unit 310. God bless you… Janece

Good for One Night

The unit is in a great location with easy access to the beach. The views are amazing and the unit was well equipped with plenty of linens and kitchen necessities. We felt like the unit could use some updating and TLC. The paint needs touching up. The décor is a bit dated. The carpets were stained and the stove doesn't work very well (one burner wouldn't work at all). It was fine for a one night stay or if you aren't planning to cook alot.

Beautiful ocean view

This rental was great for me and my family (spouse and two kids). Lots of space, great ocean view, right on the beach. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The only downside is the wifi. At peak times it was nearly impossible to watch a show or movie. It was quite frustrating. Especially after sunset when most everyone has come back tot their condo and is trying to stream something. The wifi speed needs to be upgraded to meet the demand.

Nice spot, poor cleaning

Nice spot and we had a good time. The pool was a very nice amenity. Unfortunately, the unit itself was very poorly cleaned. The non-carpeted floor was so dirty, our baby had what looked black soot all over his hands and legs just from crawling on it briefly when we first arrived. One of the comforters had a spot of what looked like dried mucus. Any vacuuming was very superficial, and there were crumbs in the cracks on the table and on the floor from the previous guests. The prominent table base in the main bedroom had a huge layer of dust and hair on it. Overall, it was a decent place, but the lack of cleanliness for such an expensive stay was very disappointing.

Very comfortable and clean!

We enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing week at Sea Gypsy. It has been our favorite Oregon Coast destination for almost 30 years. The location, view, and pool cannot be beat. Everything we needed was provided in the condo. And the entire unit was sparkling clean! The door handle on the oven came loose but we were able to temporarily fix it. Otherwise everything was in good repair. We look forward to coming back again!

Pretty cool place

I came on a solo business trip, but I can tell this would be the perfect place for a family. There were two separates sleeping areas and two bathrooms. The back room had twin beds for kiddos. I didn't use the back half of the condo at all. I spent two consecutive nights in the front room working on my laptop while at the small table against the window. I kept the windows open so I could hear the water and take in the ocean breeze. There was a heatwave in Portland but it stayed cool here. It was a nice place to get work done. Wifi was solid. Will probably come back for leisure another time.

The unit was great. Unfortunatlty. My family (of 10, 4 units rented, were unceremoniously told we had to leave a day earlier than planned related ti a reservation snafu....We could find nothing on the coast. And I must add my family included a 5 year old with special needs in a wheelchair. No kindness, no apology, sympathy no effort or offer to help us find another place. This was our 3rd consecutive year as a group. I've stayed there many times over the years. Very disappointing, and we will never stay there again.
