Checked in and checked out within 15 minutes. If you have the money, spend it on a better place. If you don't... grin and bear it or sleep in your car.

Was offered choice of two rooms: one which had a defective front door latch that wouldn't lock. The second had a TV set which would not shut off & which the volume was broken. I declined both rooms, had to wait 45 mins to get a refund, & was left to find my own alternative motel in the early hours of the morning. Stay away from this place.

Comfortable beds.. Shower has lots of pressure. Can hear the ocean from room. We didn't walk down to the beach tho. Only really bad thing was the smell and the floor felt sticky but maybe that's from the humidity near the shore? Way too expensive for what it was but put us in the area we wanted to be in..

Sunset Beach is north annex to Huntington Beach and this hotel is reasonable one night stay good for its location with jogging/walking distance to surf spot called Anderson Street, named after the street with intersects Pacific Coast Highway. If you smoke cigarettes or cigar the end of hallway balconies are smoke friendly and the 3rd floor balcony overlooks the Pacific Ocean across beachfront rooftops. Sunset Beach sits right between Bolsa Chica State Beach & Huntington Beach to south, and Seal Beach to north all within 10 miles of each other so close for variety of difference vibes.

Good hotel in a great location good for couples. Great value for the money

It's okay for the money. Carpet in room needs to be updated. As well as paint. Room is good size with plenty of space. No ice machine

i would never go back to this place again first off people that just showed up got a cheaper rate and the room that they show on line are not the same as shown..there is no pool like on line and theres no ocean view like shown it was a place for the drunks that went to the bar to just sleep it off..we had lft twice and wanted the room to be clean it was not til late in the evening and had no towels til late. And theres no way up 3 floors unless you go by the stairs and thats crazy with the what we hd..NEVER WILL RETURN

Partied with frends on the public balcony. Toilet was broken but just lifted the top to flush it.

People hanging out till early morning hours partying on the balconies etc. Not a place that i would recommend to my friends unless they were 20 something and wanted to stay up all night.
