Amsterdam East Vacation Packages

Damrak Inn is a downtown Amsterdam hotel close to Amsterdam Central train station. It’s location makes it a great choice for the day travelers that need to use railway services and have easy downtown access . The hotel is located in an old historical building with narrow staircases and smaller rooms which is typical for European cities especially Amsterdam. Very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I did have to pay a 20 euro fee at check in I wasn’t aware of and they prefer cards not cash also they required ID for everyone which is also pretty standard. The downside is that at night the area is very lively and laud, many partygoers around so if you’re looking for a quiet place this is definitely NOT the one. Also if you have a large suitcase it may not fit the narrow stairs. For our purpose (close to train station) it worked great!

It was fine. A bit pretentious, the kind of place where you feel like you should walk a little straighter to fit in. The amenities are things I don't use like spas and 4 on site restaurants including 2 with Michelin stars. I would have much preferred to pay less for something more normal but it was one of the only options available for the dates that was within walking distance to RAI. The room itself was spacious and clean and for the price (almost $400/night after all surcharges and taxes) it better have been.
