The first room they gave us the bed had not been remade and I he trash had not been emptied. They gave us a second room and it was worse. The third room was done. The trim on wall by the bathroom is coming off. The TV did not work and and the safety door lock is broken. The quality was very very bad.
The sink in the bathroom was clogged. The staff was friendly, quick to fix and apologetic. The facility was not clean. Trash all over the property. Abandoned van seating with trash in parking lot. Holes in bathroom door covered in duct tape. Floor not vacuumed and stairwell wreaked of urine. Many people loitering in parking lot. We did not feel safe. We left after 2 hours and stayed elsewhere.
Very noisy with strange activity out back. This is right next to the freeway so you will hear traffic all night. Moreover, there is evidence of transients living out back and there was very odd activity to. A car had its headlights on another car that a man seemed to be spray painting at 10:30 at night. When he left, police drove back there. Then the spray painter returned the next morning and just sat there for at least 3 hours. I showed the front desk staff a video of the spray painting. They didn't seem to think anything of it. Must be normal activity for this hotel.
Checking in takes so long and they didn't speak English. What ever you ask answer was "yes sir/mam no problem "
I will never stay at this motel again.The place was filthy dirty everywhere you looked.Homeless people and tweakers creeping around all night and a staff person entered my room at 2 am yelling that I did not pay for the room when I had paid in advance for 2 nights.Most things did not work like no light bulbs in the fixtures,no water in the pool or hot tub,wheelchair elevator did not work eather.Stay away from this place !!!!
This hotel did not hold my reservation which I had booked 6 months in advance on Orbitz. We arrived at 7pm and they did not have any rooms available. Additionally, there were 3 other families at the same time that also had reservations that were trying to check in and they were similarly turned away.
We had a reservation through orbitz and the lady working there said we could not sleep there due to no one to clean rooms. She turned 3 other reservation holders away as well. Would not refund us. We had no where to sleep that night. Super 8 owes us our money back immediately.
Horrible hotel! No functioning smoke detector, carpets in hall filthy, sheets stained with blood and coffee and ?. Mattress very badly stained in several places, and no mattress cover. Towels dirty, floor filthy. Sink cracked and dirty. Blanket stained and several cigarette holes (smoke-free hotel). Walls with stains and scrapes. carpet unravelling. "Free breakfast" = cheap dry cereal with a gallon of whole milk sitting in a small bit of ice, bread (no tongs so hands all over it) . No spoons for the cereal, no knives to spread butter. I asked for a refund, but basically was laughed at. Speaking to Windham and Super 8 managers, and contacting the Fire Marshall about the illegal smoke detector situation. Stay ANYWHERE else.
Staff was not welcoming or assisting. No realistic explanation or detail of issues preventing them from checking in customers, not apologetic for the inconveniences caused or willing assist with any possibly remedy, Would not recommend to anyone or return.
Do not stay here! I didn't look at the reviews beforehand! Filthy! Changed 2 rooms. 1st had a toilet overflowing with poop. Second had unchanged bedding, rotten food in the fridge and a dirty floor. The second room was unloaded with an entire can of cookie scented air freshener to cover up that is has not been cleaned this year.
Overall good room, property and location. They listed breakfast but which was not there and also no elevators, so we had to take all our bags to third floor by stairs.
They cancelled my reservation on the day of my reservation. I had driven 5 hours to the destination and they called and cancelled it at 3:30pm the day of the reservation. They stated they made an error. I was stranded 5 hours from home. And they offered no apology.
