It’s literally a one minute drive deom the Hands on Museum. After a day at the museum, you pack up the kids and you get to the hotel in no time. And it’s a few blocks from many restaurants. The on the weekends, it’s a nice walk with kids along the boardwalk to the Farmer’s Market. It’s so central to many things.
Very pleased with this property and staff. Got in late at night and everything was ready when I got there. Staff was helpful and accommodating would recommend in the future.
Rooms were outdated and when I arrived bathroom and shower had not been cleaned. The woman at check in was not friendly, was argumentative when I asked questions about “required” personal information requests, and unpleasant at best. Location is convenient to downtown.

I booked the reservation around 11 pm. I was in an unsafe situation and needed a place to stay. I arrived around 3 am. They had canceled my room automatically as a no show. The reservation said there was no late checkin deadline. They had no other rooms and offered no help. And they still charged me.
Room condition was poor. Stains on walls and lampshades. The "corner water view" was a joke - we think we might have seen a sliver of some water in the distance, looking past all of the city blocks.
The bar/ restaurant was ok but the fact that we were not aware the pool was closed due to maintenance and this was not listed anywhere. I could of booked a less expensive same quality place but because we were surprising kids for a weekend away with a pool we booked the double tree. The pool was closed, we were not offered cookies, the front clerk turned my son away for a cookie and told him he was not staying at the hotel even though she has just saw him with us. Checking in was great but the woman who checked us out had terrible customer service skills and was rude.
Wifi not working for over 24hrs. Friendly staff. Helpful. They all did the best they could. The areas around the hotels are questionable especially in the evenings or at night.
No mention of pool being under construction at check in or prior. During the heat wave in the area it would have been nice to use the pool. Also, parking issue one night due to car show participants filling up the parking lot.
Our family suite (2 queen beds and one key bed) was perfect for our family of 5. Staff was also very kind and helpful.
This hotel is run down. We had a suite and it looked as though it was thrown together with left over materials. Not what was expected at all.
Room accommodations were nice
My filter was "dog friendly" and this hotel popped up made reservations only to discover when i arrived that it was not dog friendly, had to scramble for another place after a12 hour road trip...
Renos on our floor. No clean up in hallway and elevator. Windows dirty. Shower set up in room was difficult to use. No one at front desk was familiar with local area/restaurants.
