Johnnie was the best part of our stay. He greeted us at check in and provided us with the best customer service by his smile, his kindness & the best customer service. We hope to see you again soon Johnnie!
Breakfast was very expensive and the food was cold. Poor selection and not all the equipment functioned properly. For the prices they charged, should have been a hot, tasty meal, it was not.
The service was pretty awful. It took about 20 minutes for someone to check us in and she wasn’t very pleasant. The room was very bland considering all the raving reviews of how nice it is. I stopped at the bar to get a couple drinks to take back to the room. Again, that wait was excessive. Very little staff on busy weekends. Wasn’t very impressed at all with this hotel.
Very nice property, location and staff. Great stay!
Great place
Clean chic, very nice hotel. As it is reflected in the room rates. Not sure how good it is for handicapped people. Being post surgery, I asked for a handicap accessible room and they cheerfully obliged. But apparently handicap accessible just means a grab bar very high in the bathtub. Fortunately that was adequate for my needs. But a truly handicapped person might struggle in The Waterford’s definition of a handicap room
Check in guy was really nice
Nice
Very nice!
What we didn’t like was the lighting in the room and specifically the bathroom. Very very dim. Hard for a woman to put makeup on in the bathroom. They had a nice looking lighted mirror but not bright or functional at all in a bathroom.
This hotel is definitely an older property with some wear and tear in the rooms. The bedsheets were clean, but the bed frame was noticeably dirty and grungy. We paid extra for a room with a patio, but the exterior of the patio door windows were so filthy, it was tough to see through them. The staff were great! But the property is definitely run down and I would rate it as a 3-star, not 4.
Sofa was uncomfortable. Light was too dim. Bed lumpy
Paper thin walls separating rooms - my neighbors had a long, loud and profane drunken argument from 02:45 - 04:30 in the morning, and it was like being in the room with them.
Lack of air conditioning, poor service attitude of supervisor
