Completed in 2022, Miyako 2 is a fully furnished one bedroom cottage with ONE queen sized bed, air conditioning and free wifi. The property is a duplex connected to Miyako 1 with a shared washer, dryer and storage unit in a common hallway. Guests can use their personal accounts to access Netflix, Spotify, etc. on a 50" smart TV. Each cottage is 1,000 sq. ft. with huge covered patios to allow for spacious outdoor living. The property is just 3 minutes walk to Freight's Bay for longboard surfing, 5 minute drive to Silver Sands kite surfing and a 10 minute walk to Miami Beach for one of Barbados most picturesque locations.

This property is also equipped with high speed internet and comfortable work areas for guests looking for a remote work location near the sea.

Lovely place to stay.. quiet, peaceful, wonderful large porch to enjoy meals. The apartment is large enough for 2 people. It has lots of storage space in the bedroom for luggage and hanging clothes. Nice big shower with good water pressure. The AC is great! There are 2 wall units, one in the bedroom and another in the living room. Usually rentals only have them in the bedroom and it’s hot in the rest of the apartment! There are also ceiling fans and a stand-up fan, so it was a welcome relief after a hot day at the beach. The linen cupboard has lots of extra towels, bedsheets, and even beach towels. There is a nice laundry room with washer & dryer that is shared between the 2 units and it is kept VERY clean! Only thing missing is a beach umbrella and some fold-up beach chairs, so you don’t come back covered in sand. Ty, the Host is amazing, and always keeps in touch with you to make sure everything is ok. He welcomes your suggestions and feedback. When arriving late at night after the grocery store is closed, be aware that there is no coffee, juice, or food for the morning to hold you over. However, there was a huge jug of water in the fridge. We would definitely stay here again!

I am not sure where to start. Everything was excellent. Communication was outstanding, residence was exactly as described. The added extras was superb. We loved the back porch and spent many hours there. Kitchen well stocked with needed items. It’s nice to go to a rental and have the items, such as plates, bowls, storage containers, full refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. we felt very safe and secure . Again, I can’t say enough about our experience. I highly recommend this rental to all potential visitors. This was one of the best experiences traveling abroad. Great job Ty!! Happy holidays!

Surfers paradise!

Our stay at Miyako was the perfect spot for our surfing vacation. The property was clean and communication with the owner Ty was easy as was the check in process. Freight’s bay is a 3 minute walk. A great place to learn how to surf. If surfing is not your thing this quiet neighborhood is a lovely place to stay. An easy drive to Oistins where you will find all the amenities you’ll need! You may even see some Monkeys in the backyard! Thanks Ty!
