Luckily we were only there for two nights before a cruise but the hotel was disappointing and not worth the price we paid. The pool was shut all day and there were no pool towels until late morning. The food was uninspiring and there was very little choice. Although there were bottles of branded spirits on the bar shelves the drinks were served out of unbranded bottles and the often ran out. The rooms were very generous in size but starting to look a bit tired. The tv which should have been wall mounted was propped up on the dressing table. This could be a lovely little boutique hotel but it needs some work to get there. Staff were generally very helpful.

Reception staff friendly and welcoming, clean large room, well appointed. Good location just over the road from a beach. Only negative would be the canteen style restaurant. Not really any Caribbean atmosphere. It would be great to use the lower level of the pool area and the seating area over the road for eating. The restaurant could be in a shopping centre!

The staff are awesome. Food was on point. Whirlpool on terrace was big surprise. Pool and breach accesses with staff bring drinks great one day my room was not cleaned and one meal was not great. But over all I was pleased, would attend again.

The clean room, multiple ways to control temperature, food, and hospitality of the staff were top-notch. And no screaming children in the pool. There were a lot of older/elder Europeans who were living their best lives, though. Really appreciated private hot access and our view of the sunset. Will definitely stay here again. It is a newer hotel but do not expect American luxury boutique hotel decor.

We had a very disappointing stay at Abidah. We were there for 9 days and for 7 of those days the elevator was out of order. We had to walk up 4 flights of stairs every time we came and went. We were actually stuck in the elevator one time and had to pry the doors open. The breakfast buffet was the same every day except they changed the pork sausage to chicken sausage. The (powdered ?) scrambled eggs were the same everyday. If you don't get there early, the food is cold. Dinner meals were themed, but the same for the 2nd week. Most of the staff was lazy and inattentive, especially the wait and bar staff. TV channels were very limited. No hand soap in the main bathroom in the room. Room was spacious, though, with a nice view of the ocean. No counter space in the bathroom because there were 2 sinks. Liquor and wine selection was very poor; unknown brands of liquor and only 4 kinds of wine. Pool shower was not fixed until 6 ays after we got there. Would not recommend this "high-end, all-inclusive" hotel, especially for the price we paid.

The hotel needs major renovations. We had a five days/ four nights stay and their elevator broke down on the second day, so we had to go up and down 4,6 or 8 flights of stairs to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner when we weren’t doing excursions. They didn’t have any activities except for Karaoke once. BUT their staff was amazing, hospitable and friendly. I wouldn’t recommend though. The 2 star was basically for the staff, I’m sorry to say.

Firstly, the staff were excellent—very helpful, accommodating, and attentive throughout our stay. However, given the price per night, the hotel needs to significantly improve its physical maintenance. The television was no longer mounted on the wall and instead placed on a stand, leaving exposed unsightly electrical wiring. We were told this was due to new televisions being installed that no longer fit the existing frames. This raises concerns about decision-making and planning, as replacements should be compatible with the spaces provided. It make the room look untidy and not a pleasant place to stay. Additionally, the soap holder had broken off the wall and was placed on the sink, not sure why this can’t be fixed. The hot tub cannot be filled independently and requires staff assistance, which was inconvenient. Mosquitoes in the lobby were also a constant issue. There were no vegetarian options available on the dinner menu, only fish and meat, the Chef was able to provide pasta and chick peas as an alternative on one night. There was not lentil peas stew, kidney pea stew etc, there were mushrooms and baked beans available for breakfast. Overall, we made the best of our stay, but the investors and owners should give serious consideration to improving the maintenance and upkeep of the physical property to better align with the price point and guest expectations
