Expedia sent the wrong credit number to the hotel, and I was on the phone with 3 different Expedia employees for over an hour. I got to the hotel just before midnight, to be told my Expedia reservation didn’t go through and she said even if it had, they didn’t have that room available. After an hour of the hotel auditor and I trying to make the almost unintelligible Expedia personnel listen to us, I had to pay $50 more for a room since Expedia had me booked in a nonexistent room. So not only did Expedia charge me, but I also had to pay the hotel directly. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever endured.
