The Space:

At Casa Lumos, simplicity meets soul. Our space is designed to reflect the rich cultural rhythms of Oaxaca while offering an oasis of tranquility amidst the vibrant streets of Centro Histórico. "Lumos"—meaning light—guides our philosophy. We’ve embraced a minimalist aesthetic that allows the natural beauty of the city, the warmth of the sun, and the charm of local craftsmanship to take center stage.

Every detail, from handwoven textiles to sleek concrete surfaces, is thoughtfully chosen to create an environment that feels both modern and rooted in tradition. The space invites you to slow down and savor life’s essentials: morning light spilling through windows, the texture of artisanal decor, and the rhythm of Oaxaca unfolding just outside your door. Casa Lumos isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a canvas for your experience—a serene backdrop for reconnecting with the art of simple living.
