Thank you for a wonderful stay. The property was as shown in the listing. It was perfect for our large group. There was plenty of parking. The neighborhood was close to a lot, including only a few blocks to Lake Merritt, which we enjoyed. Our host was respectful and responsive when needed. I would happily stay there again!

We booked this house because it could sleep so many people and it really can! The location was good for us. As a head’s up, though, we experienced quite a lot of noise out on the street at all hours of the night.

Family Stay

Khen’s home was perfect for our large family. It was well equipped with everything we needed and although the area had some questionable characters pass through at times, they kept to themselves and we felt quite safe.

Our stay overall was enjoyable, and the inside of the home was definitely the highlight. The property was spacious, and worked great for our family. The kitchen was a major plus and large enough to comfortably accommodate multiple people cooking together, which made family meals easy and enjoyable. The layout and indoor space were very well designed for groups and families. The only downside was the outside surrounding street. It was a plus that the property came with three driveway parking spaces. Unfortunately, the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy at times, and the rooms facing the street were awakened several times during the early morning hours due to street activity and noise outside the home. If you’re mainly planning to enjoy the house itself, it’s a solid option.

This place was perfect for our family reunion vacation. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, as well as enjoy large family meals together. The KP Asian market around the corner was easy walking distance. Sprouts, Whole Foods, and Target were all a 5 min drive. We had a super random issue with our door one morning but the host was on top of it, communicating with us throughout the day and helping us get in. Someone came to repair it that evening. Only item of note that doesn't match the description of the listing is that only 2 parking spots were available. This didn't matter for us since our families joining us for some dinners carpooled and we didn't need the 3rd spot. But, I thought it was worth noting. We really enjoyed our stay and thank the host for offering up their lovely home to us!
