The property is well kept, rooms are clean, up to date and the vibe was chill for the most part. As the week went on and started to get busier, the vibe was starting to get a little routy which we aren’t used to staying at this resort. The restaurants are decent but the highlight restaurant funny enough is the pool bar/restaurant. Ricardo provides the best service. Other than the pool bar, other restaurants food is average and service is slow but other than that, it’s great. The concierge is well the concierge, always trying to upsell you on services and were not trying to allow to use the $75 daily credit provided by Expedia to use for hydrotherapy even though it was a spa service and nothing stated it couldn’t be used for that. Good thing my wife was able to communicate effectively for them to finally approve it. They tried to force us to use it for only massage services while nothing in the details or terms mention that. Overall, a great place to stay if you want a chill environment (for the most part), beach is great, service is also really good for the price and package we received. Would recommend to friends and family to stay here

Excellent, friendly service from entire staff! If you’re looking for a place to disconnect the mind and recharge the body, this is the place. Beautiful property! Downside, extremely boring nights. No social gatherings, no activities, no music, everything was dark by 8pm.

Excellent service and the food was delicious and restaurant quality at every meal. Breakfast buffet was great variety and room service was timely and excellent quality. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Every location we were at (group of 16) we received quality service.

We absolutely loved our stay. We were a party of 12 and had the two-bedroom suite and three standard rooms. The two bedroom suite was incredible and allowed for SO much space, especially traveling with older children (they have their own room entirely with their own entrance). The food was great and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

It was perfect! It was our first time doing all-inclusive and using Expedia. The resort was amazing and I would highly recommend it. The resort had attentive customer service and all the staff was friendly and helpful.

As frequent travelers who often rely on the consistency and elevated service promised by Expedia’s VIP Access properties, our stay at Villa La Estancia in Puerto Vallarta was a disappointment from the outset. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Emily at the front desk—whose demeanor felt more dismissive than welcoming. Rather than setting the tone for a luxury stay, her attitude came off as sarcastic and indifferent, especially when we kindly reminded her of our Expedia VIP status. Instead of honoring the complimentary upgrade benefit—as is customary with VIP properties—she offered it only for an additional fee. The perk was not just disregarded, it was flatly brushed off without a hint of hospitality. The resort itself appeared far from fully booked, yet no effort was made to extend even a small courtesy. It felt less like a guest experience and more like a transaction. Sadly, the service culture throughout the property echoed the same energy—technically polite but completely uninspired. Dining is limited to two restaurants, both with sluggish service and menus that lack creativity. For a resort that touts an AAA Diamond rating, the food and hospitality fall short of even basic boutique standards. We attempted to escalate the matter by reaching out to General Manager Miguel Velasco, but his contact information isn’t easily accessible. My family had an amazing experience. The facility was clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. We loved the diversity of dining options and room service when we didn’t feel like leaving the room or just needed a snack. The shuttle to and from the resort was excellent. The diversity of alcohol was impressive. Not a bunch of low level well liquor. The spa was top notch. The only negative was the “sales pitch” to try to get you to buy a right to use package. They offer discounts for the couple hours of your time. I did not find the discounts to be worth our time.
