Hotel had everything required for a comftable stay. The room is large, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom has all that is required of it. The staff are very helpful and friendly making the booking in process easy and quick. I’ve avoided this hotel in the past as it’s the wrong side of the motorway for my needs - I’m travelling north and hotel is on the southbound side. Phone the hotel and they will tell you how to get easily across the motorway without a long drive to the next junction and back down the motorway. Will happily use this hotel again
We had a very welcome and comfortable one night stay at Days Inn Watford Gap on our way up to Derbyshire. The room was clean and comfortable at a reasonable rate. The Staff were very friendly.
The toilets in this place are disgusting it needs a good clean and a regular cleaner the whole place could do with a bit of tlc needs doing up and the car park is misleading however it is very busy xxx
This is the second visit to the hotel which we find extremely convenient to break a long journey from the north. The reception staff are always welcoming and helpful, the rooms a good size, and on both occasions very clean.
Stay was for a family even near by. Hotel creaky and needs some updating (new beds) but for the price it was ideal. Rita on the domestic staff was a great help.
Great staff great room great price very impressed with the staff would stay here again thank you
We stayed in two rooms (couldn't book family room, not sure if they have them for four) which were ok. Rooms a bit tired and could do with renovation - we had come from a Premier Inn the night before and the difference was obvious! Rooms are non-smoking but one smelt of stale smoke. Rooms clean enough and beds ok. If travelling northbound on M1 ring for directions as you can get across from the northbound services and back the same way when you leave, will save miles of going to the next junction and coming back. They cannot advertise the way across as it includes no entry slip roads so make sure you call. Have stayed in Days Inn near Warwick a couple of times before which I have to be honest and say was nicer but perhaps newer.
Average hotel but good eating places around needed to stay as I was very tired convenient location not bad might visit again good mid point location if returning from long trip on way north but I liked it
I recently tried to book a room at Days Inn Watford gap. I tried to book with Days Inn central reservations . This I tried twice and got total incompetents both time. I was even told they don't have a hotel at Watford gap. the second time I was told the computer was not working and could I book on line! Well no I could not as my where I was sadly had no internet. Hence trying to book on the phone. If you want to book on the phone theirs a charge to use the phone line which I find appalling, If your booking a room why should you pay extra to book it ? Eventually I was able to speak to Emma directly at Watford gap Thankfully Days inn has one competent staff member, She sorted my booking efficiently and promptly. Tonight I arrived to again find Emma was on the desk, thankfully. I tried to pay with my card and the Days inn system failed, Thankfully Emma took it upon herself to sort this and a room was provided. When I got to the room someone had either stolen the light bulbs or some other reason however again it was sorted promptly and with no fuss. The management need to shake up the staff at the booking centre, and if retraining does not work they need replacing. Really they are that bad. Next they need to sort their computer systems so they work ............. FINALLY. The management want to be grateful for staff like Emma who carry the can on the front desk and reward people like her. Thank you Emma.
I always find it nice and welcoming when the staff talk to you and are helpful if you need anything that is always a good sign. The rooms had everything you need they was clean and very tidy I would recommend this hotel to people .it is a very welcoming friendly hotel
