This was the grossest place. The couch had what looked to be blood stains on it. Had white stuff down front of couch below the stain. White stains on carpet. Sink was nasty and so was shower. Someone opened bathroom window in bathroom from outside while I was showering. Never going back go my money and went to a higher class place.
Clean standard room + good TV. Possible challenges: highway noise request room at rear of motel to reduce noise from adjacent Route 6. And, 1st floor rooms under stairs capture noise of occupants entering and exiting 2nd story rooms. Owner/manager is responsive to client concerns that follow: Experienced heating challenge during a cold night Dec 15. Mgr willingly changed room and provided extra blankets. Comfortable experience.
We found this place to be clean and the personnel friendly. The room had updated furniture and fixtures which made for a quite comfortable stay. All of the standard accouterments were available, TV, wifi, desk, microwave, refrigerator and of course a firm bed with foam top.
Clean , no frills , microwave and fridge , iron and ironing board , but very clean. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. Would recommend and will definitely stay there again !! Their people make the difference!
....which was a clean bed and shower. Reception was cordial and practical. The room did not smell. There was a frig and microwave. There was no tiny coffee pot, I realized in the morning, however, and no lackluster brunch as served at many higher priced establishments, so I didn't feel I was missing out on much there. I got to watch the Olympics, had good Wifi connection, and slept well. Good enough!
The Inn is not a cookie cutter of all chains today, from Hiltons to motel 6's. To me an important positive quality. It actually has some character. The staff was very helpful. The air conditioning could use a little updating. It was over all very comfortable and a good value.
The staff was very polite and pleasant and the location was very convenient for what I was doing in Dartmouth. Unfortunately, the place is a bit noisy at night. I stayed here for two nights and both nights I had neighbors making noise at all hours of the night and into the morning right outside my door. The only other con was the wifi was pretty unreliable. However, both of these points were not a big deal to me given the somewhat low price I was paying to stay there.
I have stayed here many times quiet affordable motel in a decent area surrounded by convenient shopping centers the gentlemen at the front desk working at night was very helpful and kind as well as the other staff I would recommend if looking for a reasonable rate with nothing fancy
Let me tell you, the people that gave a terrible review either are blind or they can't stomach anything besides pheasant under glass. I rate a room by it's cleanliness and it's bathroom. Cleanliness is good except the carpet needs to be shampooed. It has an old stain and when I first arrived it smelled musty but it went away - Hey guys, just carry fabreze. The shower was great - hot and strong - the guy that had a bad review about the shower just didn't know how to operate the lever. The toilet and shower is separate from the sink - I love that - If you have two you don't have to wait. The beds are like bunky boards but since I'm older I can't sleep on rocks like I used to - that's why I carry a memory foam topper with me. For some reason they tuck the mattress pad between the two sheets -DUHH!. When you pull the top sheet back you either have to sleep on the mattress pad or do what I did. Pull everything apart and put the mattress pad where it belongs - on top to the mattress and below the bottom sheet! I'm going to address that to management. The room was outlet starved. The outlet for the lamp between the bed was tucked up under the wall mounted headboard. I use a CPAP machine so I had to run an extension cord to the outlet on the other side of the bed. There is a 6 multiple outlet on the side of the room where the desk is and it's attached to a power strip mounted on the dresser. The outlet worked but the power strip didn't. hey guys -how easy is it to replace it. The lamp next to the desk had a cord but not plug (go figure). Good thing the desk lamp worked. The night lights on the building were excellent. Every room was lit up and you could find your room easily at night. I like the closet tucked in the corner by the bathroom. Good location. Excellent refrigerator - bigger and better than most. No coffee pot but the microwave worked adequately. Just bring a cup. For the price you can't go wrong, but if they would take care of the incidentals they could raise the price of the room. By the way, it's right across from a Mall and the first store is WALMART! I gave this rating an overall 3. Antony Melchorri would have failed it because of the washcloth I found behind the night stand
Scary, scary, scary...beware...long term tenants live there. LOUD NOISE until beyond 4am...and a door a few rooms down from mine was KICKED IN at some wee hour of the morning. AND MANAGEMENT DID NOTHING. I am sorry now that I didn't call 911...This place is not clean, I felt I was sleeing on a pull-out sofa...(I asked for a King). Nothing is okay about this place. I will never book a hotel/motel again without checking on Trip Advisor.
