The hotel was in a great location, central to everything we wanted to do. The staff was nice and welcoming. The room itself wasn’t the best. We were given a king handicap accessible room. The bed was fine, but the bathroom wasn’t very nice at all. The heat was also set very high. It was reading 76 at some points. For us the saving grace was the location and the pools. Hot tubs were a nice way to relax at the end of the night, but for one night it was almost $300 plus resort fees, and we think there may have been better options out there.
Pleasantly surprised family! Kids loved the giant stuffed animals in the lobby, the talking moose Monty, surprise hot chocolate bar during the day. Room was fine, the couch made a great 3rd bed. Indoor and outdoor heated pool and hot tub lovely with the snow coming down!
Really enjoyed the outdoor playground and pools for my family.
The staff at the desk was really nice and friendly each time we went by. The room was a bit small and the bathroom was VERY tight and small. Beds seemed okay but too many throw pillows which in my opinion are not likely easily cleaned which is gross to me. The light in between the bed showed exactly how much dust was floating around and it was unsettling to see that every night before going to sleep. Constant floating dust into the light. Unlike other reviews, when we went there was not much activity at the pools. The bottoms and steps of the pools look a bit dingy and need to be deep cleaned and refreshed. There's no open restaurant there, and no bar or anything. I did not see breakfast being served at all either day we were there but might have been out of sight as we didn't go over to the restaurant area. It is also not free as most hotels offer. The parking lot was a disaster. It was full of pot holes and definitely needs work.
I love the location and it was pretty clean. However the bath tub didn't drain and the room was very hot. I turned the temperature down and it was very noisy and disrupted the my sleep. Friday night the fire alarms went off and we were all in the lobby for quite a while. I never used the amenities but was charged the fee. I was charged an additional amenity fee today even though I was the only guest. I'll be calling about that tomorrow. So it definitely could have been better. I think you should charge additional for the amenities so people have an option. I peeked at the pool and jacuzzi and their were so many people in it I would never go into it. Looked to me like a Covid nightmare.
Stayed at the hotel about 8 years ago, everything was exactly the same. For the price hotel needs some upgrades and renovations. Our room was on the first floor- way too noisy in the mornings, and I’m not talking 9, 10 am, I’m talking 7am. I don’t want to get up at 7 am on vacation. Pool had some hair floating. Don’t know how late room service comes to clean up, my son wasn’t in a hurry to leave the room, but it was around 1, they said they won’t come back since they’re already done with the 1st floor. She was nice enough to give fresh towels at least .
Our stay here was a wonderful continuation of our amazing wedding! It was a fantastic place to stay for our honeymoon!
The staff was wonderful and accomodating. The room was clean, comfortable and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. I look forward to staying there again.
Good location with updated bathroom
The property was beautiful. Perfect location and very family friendly. The only complain is that the restaurant was only open for take out. The breakfast was a grab and go.
