This was one of the worse stays I've ever booked thru hotels.com. The girl that checked us in was very nice. BUT the wifi didn't work the entire stay. Both my friend and I had work to do on our computers and couldn't. I chose the hotel because of the location and free wifi. When we spoke to the staff the night we arrived she said she would reset the Internet. That didn't work so she was to call the Internet provider. The heat in our room did not turn on. It was chilly out so we only wanted to warm the room up a bit but no heat We called the after hrs gentleman and he was clueless. Thought the AC would heat it up. The next morning, still no wifi. At checkout we told the gentleman at the desk. He made it seem that we were lying. Wanted to check the phone I'm a masters level clinician who uses my phone for work etc and know what I'm doing. I asked for a credit and he said if I refund you then hotels.com bills us. He offered a gift card to his hotel but why would we stay there again. Very disappointing Hoping I can be compensated some for this terrible experience Thank you

Our room wasn’t ready. We was told nothing about the heating or air conditioning. Receptionist wanted to just get us to our room (when it was ready) and laughed about everything. The room was very nice however.

The staff was friendly and the location was great. I felt like I was going to roll out of bed, the beds definitely needs to be rotated. The bathroom, the corners,mirrors and the toilet paper dispenser wasn't clean. I went to the front office to see if they had wd40 for the front door squeak, I woke up my friend and probably the neighbors? We had 2 more days and no one offered to grease the door once I brought it to their attention. I could hear the people upstairs, which usually happens with 2 floors. Went to get ice and check out the vending machine for snacks, the vending machine was completely empty. The office opens at 8 and there is no coffee in your rooms. Usually places have someone at their office around 6 so you can get coffee.

Ce n’est pas la première fois que nous allons au Golden Gâble Inn. Nous avons toujours un excellent service, les chambres sont belles et propres et il est très bien situé. Il n’y a pas de déjeuner de compris, mais du café au besoin tôt le matin. Nous retournerons au Golden Gables Inn si les tarifs demeurent compétitifs, car à North Conway, depuis les dernières années, le prix des hôtels a terriblement augmenté. Merci pour le bon service.

Extra pillows and blankets would have been great. The curtains pour in the building light all night long. The room was lite up which made poor sleeping conditions. The room is also NOT sound proof. It was actually quite loud...which also seemed to last all night long. The jetted tub was wonderful and met all my expectations. Overall, it was an average stay.
