Well when we first got to our room it was freezing cold. This room had a fireplace which I did not ask for and it was very dirty. Looking around the room I found mouse droppings on the carpet in multiple areas. I went toward the coffee machine and there was an incredible amount of mouse droppings. I called the front desk immediately and they changed my room. My second room was better but still disgusted by the first room I jusy wanted to leave.

First room was not the type of room that was booked. Which was not a huge deal but the room had no heat. They switched us rooms to a room where the bed had not been made from the previous stay. Kitchen not working…. Due to no heat. Left and went elsewhere.

It’s ashamed that this hotel is not up kept because it is conveniently located. The hotel bathroom was so gross with black mildew all the way around. The bottles of soap, shampoo etc. are too small for a couple to share. The tv had the worst selection of channels I have ever encountered. Thankfully we had our laptop to watch netflix. The biggest problem was the door to the balcony. It did not lock. There was so sort of weird stick holding it closed but the latch did not work. My room was at the back by the pool and it didn’t feel safe. This hotel should not be even close to $100+ for the night if it not going to be cleaned and renovated.

Room was freezing (42 degrees), heater had not been turrned on. After 2.5 hours, the temperature was up to 58 degrees. Was switched rooms immediately to a nice suite (although run down). Property is very unkempt , debris from walls on floor, needs a lot of uodates / repairs. Have been here three years ina row despite the kess then favourabke conditions but it keeps getting worse.

They should let you know - that you may not be alone in your room! My sister, my niece and I each had our experience while we stayed one night- I mentioned it to front desk at check-out, and they were like “ Oh yeah we have a ghost on 1st floor… I was like well it’s moving about the Hotel as it was in our room last night! She then went on to state that they have psychic fairs there and they request these rooms! THAT INFORMATION WOULD HAVE BEEN USEFUL UPON BOOKING!!!!

We read the reviews and expected the rooms and main areas to be a little run down. Our check in was quick and the person was friendly. We were told to drive around back to park and use that door to enter closer to our room. We noticed that the door was broken and didn't lock but we ignored it and continued to our room. The room was clean and furniture was decent. We heard outside noise and loud voices and wonder why it sounded like they were in our room. When we looked out the sliding door to the balcony we noticed that handle and locking mechanism were missing completely and someone shoved a facecloth in the 6 inch hole to block out the cold. The door still opened when pushed on so it didn't make use feel super safe. But since we were staying on the 3rd floor we figured the balcony wasn't easily accesisible so we should be okay. The breakfast choices were either toast or cereal with watered down juice. Checkout was easy as it was done online. I wouldn't recommend staying here again until they renovate or at least fix the safety issues.
