It’s always a pleasure to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Beds are so comfortable, the noise level is low. View of the Nansemond River is beautiful. Staff are friendly.
It is a very nice place to stay. I had a fine experience.
Nice hotel. Needed somewhere to stay during the snow. They also have a restaurant at the hotel so you don't have to leave. Room was big and clean.
Nicely situated to the wedding venue. Worked out well. Saturday farmer's market across the street was a nice surprise. By all means, if possible, tour Riddick's Folly...well worth it
it was a beautiful place for a wedding, except for the uninvited guest, results of the hurricane. we have been to other Hilton garden Inn's and expected a breakfast each morning....every thing else very nice. Beds were very comfy. The food was very good also.
Wonderful overnight stay in Suffolk. We needed a comfortable and affordable place to stay for a social event that was close to Route 460.
Very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Very nice, see you next time!!!! I will stay at your hotel every time I am in Suffolk, VA. I will inform my family and friends about your wonderful hotel. It is the best place to stay in Suffolk, VA. This was my fifth (5th) Stay at your hotel, and each stay was just wonderful.
Clean, well enough appointed and situated for traveling to Norfolk and the surrounding area. Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which included wonderfully spiced cooked apples and grits. The first night and morning's weather was warm enough for us to enjoy the large and welcoming patio. Wanted a cocktail, but the staff was more interested in socializing with one another. Once we received service, the person bartending wasn't particularly knowledgeable. Otherwise the experience was just fine.
While the location is on the water everything else falls short on expectation. The hotel has a grand appearance but shows signs of neglect even on the simplest of things to make the appearance memorable. Furniture was damaged in the lobby and the hotel elevator floors simply unacceptable. The patio over looking the water could be the hotel's best asset if properly staged. Hotel could also do a better job on promoting the best things to do in down town Suffolk especially the Dismal Swamp hike trail for the moderately fit.
Great value for an overnight. Great location for us.
We enjoyed our first stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel brunch the next morning was reasonably priced and very good - lots of choices. We missed our welcome cookie, but other than that, we had a good stay and will return the next time we're in Suffolk.
The floor of the pool needs to be cleaned thoroughly but other than that, food was excellent and everything else was great. The toilet tissue holder in handicapped rooms need to be on the wall on either side of commode. Couldn't reach it. We will stay there again.
easy to find & close to everything
