Worst hotel I have ever seen. I am really surprised the health board hasn't shut it down. BUGS!
Only used parking near entrance as rest of it were blocked as being paving. I had to walk long way to my room. Room was very bad shape: Bed warped, brown spots in main room and bathroom, no tub plugger, all out of date except Flat screen tv, fridge and microwave. Also just the big sign said Motel, not Travelodge. I think I would need my money back.
Very disappointing. AC worked well, that's the only positive. Property is very beaten down. Floors are in bad shape. Baseboard was falling off in our room, with exposed nails. We have small children so we asked immediately if someone could take care of the nails. We were told someone would be right up. No one came. We asked again later that night. "Oh he got tied up and will be there in the morning". Of course he didn't come. Same song and dance for the entire two day stay. No towels when we arrived. WiFi was terrible. Just a miserable experience. Terrible exterior lighting, very unsafe. Potholes all over the parking lot. Not worth the low rates.
Bed bugs decomposing death smell from the corpse in the room on the other side of the wall. No other room to move to. No refund.
Atrocious! Downright disgusting. They make zero attempt to clean the bathroom. Excessive body hair in the shower. Toilet did not work, urine was caked on the seat and sink was clogged. Front service never sent anyone to repair. BIG RED X.

I was finally going to be back in a decent hotel but the entire town was sold out where I planned to stop and this crap hole is what was close by. Another place you have to skip the shower. Clearly they make no attempt to clean the bathroom. Urine caked on the seat. Couldn’t even put down a toilet paper nest because the toilet was broken. Called front desk and they did nothing. Should have kept driving.

The lobby was dated, but clean. The room was horrible with no working TV, and only 1 outlet working. You could either microwave something, turn on the light, run the fridge, or watch a blue screen on the TV, but only 1 at a time!!! Would not have stayed without a firearm under my pillow!!!
First room - TV did not work, roaches on counter, room smelled. Second try in another room. TV volume did not work, room smelled dirty, old food in fridge, bathroom light did not work, entire toilet covered in rust stains inside, wallpaper peeling off walls, internet (part of room fee) did not work (report not filed in time), old carpeting turned socks black after one trip to bathroom. The air conditioner was ineffective in cooling the room after a hot day outside. I waited a few days to cool off before filing this. If the Department of Health in VA showed up at the door of this location, they would certainly be cited. I stayed at 12 Motel 6's on a trip across the country and back and all were perfectly fine and a great bargain. This one has fallen through the cracks.
The entire room needed some serious cleaning, and I have a pretty high threshold for complaining about that.
