I don't enjoy myself staying to that hotel....I never, never, never recommend this hotel to all of my friends
The walls and doors were filthy the room had a musky closed up smell the shower had No pressure the parking lot was trashy and lots of shouting and outside noise late at night
Great place to stay for the cheap. Don't expect much. Not that far from Virginia Beach (10 miles, 15-20 mins). You want to save money? Stay here. You gotta pay more for comfort.
i was in town for the holiday and had to stay an extea night and this was a great choice on such short notice. the breakfast was not the best but it was good
My stay was great, I was in town for my niece Wedding... I plan to visit again soon...
Could use a few changes but overall if was a good stay
The room was inexpensive, however I would definitely still expect my room phone to work instead of me having to use my cell phone. The on-call maintenence guy brought 2 replacement devices that he had to troubleshoot before I had a working room telephony device which by far is unacceptable.
seems a few white folks got here from the internet.seems like a pimp was working 2 girls out of the end room..then there was the black guy smoking crack on the stairs to the second level,,not a family place for sure.. We won't stay there again for sure!!! I guess we were ther friday night and the welfare checks had just come in
Other than the staff being pretty nice and the check in check out process being super easy, there are no good comments on this hotel. It was in a horrible location with sketchy people walking around all hours of the night. The room was dirty especially the bath tub which looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was a hole in the wall next to the bed and the room needed major repairs. "High-Speed" internet connection was awful. Disgusting hotel, awful location, felt extremely unsafe.
The place was great for the price. Very clean rooms.
We stayed couple of times in Econo lodge chain hotels in different locations earlier and those weren't bad, did meet our expectation. This one is not good at all. Location is ok. The shabby old building, room looks dirty, cockroaches are moving on the wall, no separate closet, bathroom door lock was broken, no hot water on the shower. We didn't feel like staying in this hotel but at that moment we didn't have any other choice. In short, we were not happy with this stay in this Econo lodge. Next time we would think thrice about staying in Econo lodge before we book.
We pulled into the parking lot and observed people walking about and sitting in front of rooms. Some drinking alcohol. As we went to consider check in, a beer can fell from the upper level and exploded. The outside was not clean and housekeeping had a cart out that looked like it had not been moved that day.
The Econo Lodge was neat, clean, well air conditioned, and convenient for location!
