Service in general good - dining opportunity lacking. For this price, breakfast should be offered.
Nice location, wonderful staff... there were some issues with heating for room; staff was quick to accommodate
Would definitely stay here again
This was absolutely the nastiest/worst hotel I have ever and I do mean ever stayed in. For starters, there was hair on the toilet in several spots, the seat and top of back. The bathtub was very old. It looked as if the tile had been repaired from holes with dark beige spots in it. I actually went out and paid for cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom before I could use it. The furniture was ancient, dirty and worn out. The TV was the smallest I have seen in a long time. I
The converted historic building was unique and nicely renovated.
Hotel was nice…staff was nice and location wise it was beautiful and i will always enjoy my time down in the Tidewater Area
Entire hotel smells like cigarette smoke. Hotel check in people were nice but I’d never stay again given the awful smell, smoke poured through the vents and in the lobby. Cleaning service had masks around necks but didn’t have them on their faces. I stayed at a Hampton inn the next day that felt so much cleaner. I am done with Marriott.
The building is clean and the beds are nice. But they need to do more to make the customers feel welcome. The Hilton make sure the customers can get their own ice without asking . They have meuns for takeout to make sure visitors can easily get food. They also have housekeeping. We do not have to make 24 advance notice for our room to be clean. Things are rough for people enough the least this place can do is make sure the guest is comfortable.
Hard to be impressed during Civid with everything closed. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Hotel could use some updating. Overall stay was great, staff went above and beyond. I most definitely will be staying here again.
Friendly staff, very clean. Room was nice and clean. Very quiet
Due to a family matter I was not ALLOWED to cancel this stay even though it was plenty of time to do so. I will not be using this Courtyard in the future. Orbits is on my do not use as well.
I am disappointed with this hotel and after seeing such high reviews I expected more. I've stayed at the Sheraton, Marriott, and wyndham but this was the worst hotel. Staff was not personable, breakfast was horrible, and with the $19 parking, there was nothing special about the hotel. There was a norfolk city parking attendant sleeping in the lobby Sunday morning which was unflattering to the hotel. Just spend the money to stay somewhere else.
Staff was nice but breakfast was quite pricey! Very clean rooms.
