Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Furniture was a little worn for a hotel that lists rooms at $200. Location was good for our purposes. Nice package of relaxation creams.

Good job. Nice and clean. Good service. Room was very nice.

I was not impressed with the hotel. It was average at best. The staff upon registration seemed to not want to be there. I understand a little bit because we all would love to be wealthy and not have to work but if you are going to work then do the best work you can do. The room was a basic hotel room. No different from the hundreds of rooms I have stayed in.

Adequate hotel for the price. No bell staff when my handicapped 87 yr old mother and I arrived. Guess it is still off-season according to my relatives. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean. No regular coffee in my room, just 4 decafs. Moms room had both. Front desk cheerfully provided whatever the maids forgot. A good hotel that I would recommend.

The hotel was close to the beach, had friendly staff, great amenities, and was very clean. I would recommend others and I would definitely stay there again if visiting the area.

There was a slight mix up on check in where our request for a handicap room didn't transmit, but the hotel staff was extremely friendly and got us into the right room. We had to go from two doubles to one king (for our party of three), but the loveseat was big enough to hold the third (a child). Sidenote - the staff offered to comp a rollaway bed because of the mix up, but we made the comfy couch into a bed. The pool and workout room were nice. No free breakfast, but as an IHG reward member, we were able to check out late! I would recommend tks hotel to anyone looking for a nice, modestly priced hotel in the "downtown" Virginia Beach area. -- P.S.: We are locals who wanted to take my niece out for a "night on the town". The view here may not be the best, but the people make this one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while.

My family and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Virginia Beach for a surprise birthday celebration. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and the staff was excellent. The gym could use some renovating and the breakfast was sub par at best but there are a number of restaurants in close proximity (car needed). All and all a decent hotel. Would recommend for short trips.

Where we will stay on our next trip to Virginia Beach. The staff was excellent

nice hotel Great location we were not there long enough to enjoy the pool restaurant or lounge, but they did look nice

The hotel is ok but has nothing special. Is close from everywhere but always by car.

Very pleasant staff! Room was very clean and neat. Pool was nice.

The hotel was comfortable and clean, we enjoyed the pool!

Overall ok stay. Room was way smaller than anticipated. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sauna and pool were nice amenities, and about a 15 minute drive to the beach

I don't stay in many Crowne Plaza properties so this could have been par for the course but it was a bit bland and frankly slightly overpriced for such a standard property. Staff was a bit flat and not that on point, rooms were outdated and the television got snowy reception, but the location was great and the room was clean and comfortable.

The room was nice and comfortable, however, the A/C had the room cold and damp. Once i got that resolved i was good to go.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and clean. I would recommend this place.

My stay at the crowne plaza was ok, nothing really negative but nothing to write home about either. Felt like I was being bitten while laying in the bed, I don't know if it was from possible bed bugs or the material of the sheets, friends staying in another room experienced the same biting/irritation

My stay at this hotel was beyond perfect. The staff was friendly and made us feel comfortable. The hotel was clean and had a fabolous location. The beach was only 9 miles away and there were a ton of stores surrounding us. I definently will be staying here everytime i visit Virginia Beach.I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice place to stay thats well in your budget.

had a vey nice stay. staff was great, nice location. would stay at this hotel again

In walking distance (10-15 min) to downtown; my room (315) had some talkative neighbors but at least they didn't chat too long (the walls are ok but not very insulating). Otherwise room 315 is very nice.
