My wife and I got a great package deal via British Airways Holidays and we had no idea what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised. Easy to get to by bus from the airport and a fab central location just off the Promenade des Anglais and a short walk to the old town. The hotel itself is quirky and full of character, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Although the room was on the small side, it was perfect for our needs. There is a lovely breakfast room (12 euros for continental breakfast) which I only visited once as there is a fantastic boulangerie nearby, but when I did, they made me a perfect boiled egg =)

This was a very nice and quaint hotel. The rooms were a bit small, but managed to put suitcase in corner and work around it. We stayed here during June 2016 during Eurocup so the price was really good when book. Not noisy at all under the circumstances. Bathroom was small too, but expected. We had a room with a small balcony (no seat just view) on 2nd floor. The decor, maids, staff were very friendly and they accommodated to our rental (only 2-3 spots available). Nice hotel, we'd stay here again if in Nice, but would probably choose a room one size up.

A beautiful old villa is now a charming small and atmospheric hotel with a small pretty outside area which sadly we couldn't enjoy in the winter! Very well situated just a couple of blocks from the Promenade and near the Negresco hotel and bus stops for airport. Rooms are smallish but nicely decorated in typical French style as is the whole hotel. Air conditioning/ heating can be a bit temperamental . Tea/ coffee making facility in room and a tiny bar / sitting area in the lounge/ breakfast area where you could sit and read if you fancied .Staff are very friendly and keen to help. We had a special deal on the breakfast at 2 for price of 1.Otherwise I think a bit pricey(12europp) but tasty and plentiful.Freshly boiled egg to your order on arrival, small buffet style table with cereals, breads, fruits, cheeses hams etc. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would return

Room nicely decorated but quite small. Could hardly turn in the shower. Water was hot and cold inconsistently. Dirty aircon spitting out dust could not leave it on. Charge 1.80 euro for bottle of water in room. Charged breakfast without informing. Not staying again. Brice around the corner is better

From the moment you arrive you know you chose right, the outside is beautiful and it just gets better and better after a very warm greeting and a quick check in we were shown to our room (No.8) for the next 2 nights and we could not be any happier it was spotlessly clean throughout plenty of room and plenty of storage,a good shower with clean soft towels. I can't not praise the decor highly enough it was what you hope for when you stay in France authentic right throughout. The hotel is 5 mins to the Prom and about a 15 min stroll to the old town. All we can add is you won't be disappointed if you stay here. Jamie and Joanne ps free wifi

The hotel is very charming, very friendly service; we just stayed for two days to attend the Monte Carlo Circus Festival; the hotel was very helpful to give us information for our visit in Monte Carlo and also organized our taxi for the return at night.

Good Hotel and good value. Great breakfast at reasonable price - they even boiled an egg for us. Stayed in Quad w/family, which was small but adequately sized. Bath was clean, tho shower was quite small. Parking was a little pricy, but very convenient for a late arrival. Street parking was extremely limited and tight. Staff was very nice.

Fantastic boutique hotel, great location beautiful rooms, first class service, very friendly helpful staff, lovely breakfast, just a few minutes walk from the shops beaches, and train station, also lots of lovely cafes and restaurants nearby !

This hotel was an excellent choice for us.  The location is perfect, only a few blocks from the lovely Promenade des Anglais, and convenient to many bus lines that can get you wherever you want to go.  The hotel is well-designed, not only in terms of efficiency - the bedrooms, the bathrooms - but also with regard to aesthetics.  All the little touches are so charming and personal, and unusual in a hotel.   Most important for the traveller I think is the service.  The staff is terrific - unfailingly friendly and helpful, at the front desk, in the breakfast room.  The breakfast itself is quite generous, in a room with, again, many attractive features.   All in all, a winner, for an unforgettable visit to Nice.

Visited Nice in September. Weather was clear and warm. Hotel Rivoli was well positioned, only a couple of streets from the sea front. A lovely hotel with French character, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was well presented with cheery friendly staff. I recommend this hotel and will be returning next year.
