Moonlite Motel Niagara Falls

On our road trip on the east coast during summer we stayed here for two nights. The only reason for 99% of the guests staying there is for sure the Falls nearby. It is literally 10 minutes with the car. Originally we planned for only one night, but as the ride from Boston went better and faster than expected we called the hotel a few hours before if we can check in one night earlier and extend the stay to two nights. After checking the reservations the manager confirmed and so we arrived in the early evening/late afternoon. The check in was really quick and friendly and we could go directly to our room. Parking in front of the rooms is free of charge and we managed to get the space directly in front of our door. The manager, by the way, was a really nice guy. We had some good and funny talks on our first morning. Thumbs up for this guy! The room was quite spacious with two queen size beds in it. Unfortunately the smell was quite strange and felt a bit disgusting. I would have described it as a mixture between some perfume and urine. The source was obviously the air condition. We turned it off and opened the door for five minutes then the smell was mostly gone. As it was not that hot we didn't need the AC. The room is also equipped with a TV and a fridge. Unfortunately no coffee machine. The bathroom was ok and mostly clean. Just a bit of scale in the shower but that didn't bother us really. The beds were quite comfortable but during the night you can hear some noise from the street. Not too much but if you happen to be a light sleeper better take some ear plugs with you. Breakfast is served directly at the reception but there is no seating. So you need to take a tablet to grab some things and have the breakfast on your room. But, as a European, lower your expectations. It is typical "American hotel breakfast". Which means some donuts and pastries and coffee. Ok for one morning. But nothing you want to have too often. Better look for a good café or breakfast restaurant. Nearby the hotel you'll find some restaurants (mostly fast food like KFC, Wendy's, Tacco Bell etc.), a gas station, Walmart etc. In some way a typical American small town. So, all in all, we enjoyed our stay and we can definitely recommend this hotel for one or two nights when visiting Niagara Falls.

Stayed here for 1 night with my wife, room was large enough and clean. The heater was a little outdated and fairly noisy, biggest downside was that we booked this place for the breakfast and were told that since it was the off season that they wouldn’t do breakfast. It’s still fine for someone just passing through.

The room king room we had was spacious. The double room my daughter and her 2 boys had was not. But both rooms were clean and recently redecorated. The "basic continental breakfast" was just that--with trays provided to carry the pastries, fruit coffee and juice back to the room. The office didn't open until 8:00 for even coffee-- the one thing that I would change. We enjoyed our stay and found the owner, who told us the little motel had been in the family for 30 years, to be very friendly and helpful.

My husband & I are retired and travel a lot so we look for comfort,  convenience and a good value in our hotel stays.  Check in was fast, efficient &  friendly. The room was so clean the cleaning agent smell bowled us over when we entered. The bed was OK but the pillows were thick hard pieces of foam. Very uncomfortable. The hotel looked well maintained. The heating/AC unit allows you to set your desired temperature instead of having to guess how far to turn the knob. However, it was really loud making it difficult to sleep. We had a king room. I feel that the bed was too big given the room size. There was one nightstand and a table with chairs leaving the bed pushed so close to the wall on the opposite side you had difficulty squeezing between the wall & bed to get in. The bathroom had zero counter space, just 2 narrow shelves on which to put toiletries. The nightstand had an outlet available but one of us needed to search elsewhere to find an adequate outlet for cell phones & computers. The TV was mounted on a low cabinet so contortions were necessary to work the remote. The cable quality left much to be desired as well. Most channels were really snowy. The motel is convenient to find & close to several places to eat. We like a quieter area for our hotel stays so being a bit further from the bustle of the central Niagara Falls area was nice. While the hotel was reasonably priced, it was not comfortable making it not a good value.  We will not consider staying here if ever in the area again.

Motel was ok for price. The bathroom was really small to where the toilet is in front of the sink. The tub is only for a shower, no bath. The air conditioner worked well but dripped. The "continental breakfast" was donuts, muffins, and, coffee. The beds were descent and the room has a frig and microwave. There is a shuttle that comes once an hour, but it takes 30 minutes to get to the Falls when it's a 10 minute drive there.

Very clean motel! Nice continental breakfast in the morning, that was a really nice thing to offer for a smaller motel. The owners were so friendly and helpful! Close to Niagara Falls. Would definately recommend!

We were in Niagara Falls overnight. Room was clean and the staff was helpful. We went on a tour that was not over until long after check out time, and the staff let us leave our car at the motel until we returned. Very helpful!

After a long day of traveling we were checked in quickly, and even upgraded to a bigger room (2 queen beds in the main area, 1 queen bed in it's own room). The rooms were very clean, pretty spacious, comfortable, and appeared to be recently updated. The weather didn't cooperate for our family to swim in the pool, but that area looked very well maintained and nice. Only downside was breakfast isn't served till 8. That is tough if you wake early and need coffee right away. But they are located very close to several coffee options. Breakfast is simple; pastries, fruit, coffee, and orange juice. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Motel was a short drive to the falls. If we ever make it to the Falls again, we will most likely book Moonlite Motel.

We came to Niagara Falls for one night. We were recommended to this hotel by one of the travel booking sites. All I have to say, is what a GREAT motel. We reserved a family suite and we got upgraded to a one bedroom Suite. We will definitely look to stay here on our next visit to the area.

Very clean room, quiet, well maintained!!! The staff was extremely helpful. Close to the state park and dining. I left a necklace there and it was promptly mailed to me. I can't say enough positive remarks regarding the little gem of a motel.
