We stayed for six nights in June. The hotel is very large and well maintained. The Staff are wonderful and go out of their way to ensure you feel welcomed and looked after. The reception staff, especially Nhien and Vi were lovely. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. You can order special coffee at the little counter which was vey nice. The omelettes and pastries/bread were delicious. There was an abundance of exotic fresh fruit every morning. The pool and beachside loungers were great. The door and luggage staff were also very pleasant. There is a guy to help you cross the road to the beach which was very helpful when we had just arrived. Our room was a little tired but very clean and had the most beautiful view over the bay and a hot tub on the patio! Blissful. Overall a great place- we would definitely stay again.
I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Sunrise Hotel, Nha Trang for 2 wonderful evenings the 9 &10th June 2019. I stayed in room 908 and the room was exceptionally comfortable and with a balcony spa with a amazing view. The entire hotel is beautifully appointed reception, dinning room, bars, everything down to the finest detail and the food was magnificent. There is one thing I must mention there are two women from reception that stood out for me, their presentation was immaculate, they are very polite and courteous and extremely helpful with a lovely smile. Uyen Ha & Thanh Thu. Thank you Stephen.Anderson.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Sunrise, view from the room just amazing, Breakfast and Restaurant so good, pool area great,Close to good shopping area, would love to go back next time we visit Vietnam
Review Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Resort. We stayed at this hotel for three nights leaving this morning. Whilst the venue promised great things we were unfortunately very disappointed and the manager, Mr Ingo Rauber, was clear in his reluctance to take feedback and provide any reasonable positive outcome. The resort is in a great location on the beach central to most things and with lovely front end staff, pool and facilities BUT there were several negatives in our three night stay. On night one, we found the air conditioning inadequate and very noisy. We stayed in several different and very busy locations across Vietnam over the past few weeks and this was by far the worst for room noise. The noise was like consistent aircraft noise. Early in the morning, we asked reception to check it out and were advised that it was fine however they did offer an upgraded room that day to accomodate an interconnection to another room (requested on check in but unavailable at the time). The new room was superior and the noise slightly improved. We loved the beach early in the morning, and the pool was excellent, particularly from lunchtime onwards when the pool area was more shaded and less hot and exposed. However despite a great afternoon on our first full day around the pool, we found a sign on the entry to the pool advising that the area would be closed the following day due to a function. The pool itself would be open but the day beds not available from 1pm. All the rooms faced onto the pool so we were concerned about what noise may arise from the pool area during the function. We asked staff what the likely impact would be and were advised that it would be very noisy up till anywhere between 9 and midnight. As expected, we were unable to use the pool after 1pm yesterday. We observed from our balcony, staff setting up tables for a dinner and a stage around the pool area. Sound checks at around 4-5pm suggested the music noise was going to be LOUD. My daughter observed reception fielding calls from hotel users very loudly expressing their dissatisfaction at the music and asking for it to be turned down. At 640pm, the music started, varying between DJ and Iive singers. It was so loud in our rooms that despite closing doors, curtains and earbuds it was still difficult to hear the tv. With one of our family feeling unwell it wasn’t possible to go out to avoid it. Thankfully, the music stopped at 840pm and a check from our balcony showed that the party was over, the guests gone and the pack down underway. Happy days, we thought, was just a few hours not so bad ... not so. The pack down was also noisy with banging and thumping as equipment and the stage were dismantled and ongoing noise lasting till midnight! To add to a disrupted night, we experienced loud and frequent water noises over our bed till 540am. It sounded like a deluge about to come through the ceiling every hour or so. Not sure if that was flushing toilet, bath or the aircon water dump but it was annoying enough to wake us each time. At checkout this morning I asked to speak to the manager. I advised him politely and calmly the impact of the event and noise, the inability to vacate room for the evening and the water noise, that had we been advised earlier we might have had opportunity to change our reservation. We were told that the other guests had been happy with the event and in fact had joined in from their balconies. During a quick trip to the nearby minimart yesterday evening, we did not witness anyone on the balconies. Noting this, the witnessed calls to reception, the apologies from the staff about the disruption and the clear defensiveness of the manager, I call bullsh1t!! When I pointed out that: - he clearly didn’t want to listen to our feedback, he fobbed us off with “Sorry”. - we had been unable to use the full pool facilities on one of our two full days, we were told “You could use the beach”. It was a public beach FFS! What we paid for wasn’t available! - we had worn earbuds, we were told, the noise only went for a few hours, sooooo ...? - the event pack down had gone on till midnight, we were again told “Sorry” - last night had been the worst night in our 12 nights so far in Vietnam, we were again told “Sorry” Feedback about the aircon and water noises were ignored completely. We were left feeling very dissatisfied with the manager’s complete lack of interest, poor showing of customer service, and obvious arrogance and attitude. He simply turned and walked away. I therefore cannot recommend the Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Resort. I suggest you should instead book elsewhere to avoid the drama, inconvenience and a manager with 0 care factor. However if you’re a glutton for punishment and still consider staying here, I suggest you: - check whether there are to be any events during your stay and if these are to be around the pool note that the rooms all overlook the pool and will be impacted by event noise and lack of full access to the facilities. Take your own supply of earbuds! - be aware of loud droning airconditioning noise in the rooms. Your supply of earbuds may be helpful - be aware of weird, loud and frequent water noises from rooms overhead. Your supply of earbuds may really get a workout! - know you will not be offered any consideration for your inconvenience in the instance events are to be held around and pool, and - know that the manager has a “don’t give a f@ck” attitude and your feedback may be deflected as your issue not his
We felt so spoilt staying at Sunrise. The staff are exceptional and really go above and beyond to make your stay the most enjoyable. Highlights are the location, incredible views, extensive breakfast menu, pool and our amazing yoga classes with Dinh!!!! What a treat :) We couldn't recommend this hotel more highly!!!
From the moment we was picked up at the airport by mr long and the driver, we was made so welcome. All the staff at the hotel was so nice to carole and my self. They can’t do enough for you, lovely hotel with really good facilities, we stayed for 7 nights. And loved it, we would stay again. In a quiet part of Nha Trang and that’s what we wanted. And it’s rite on the beach front .
Excellent room although we got upgraded, cleaned every day when ever you required chocolates given in the evening for free.Has a sky bar with good views all at reasonable prices. food in the restaurant very good also at good value. all staff very friendly and can speak understandable English
So disappointed with this hotel. The room was massive but very old and with no view at all (and no balcony), shower wasn’t really working that well and there was a geco in the bathroom. The beach was ok but there were only 10 pairs of seat with umbrella - if you were late, you had to laid down on the sand. The pool was incredibly small and out of use for one day. The breakfast was alright- good selection of European and Asian dishes. The rooftop was ok but the welcome drink was ice tea lol finally, on the last day we asked to get the taxi and there quote was around 600k vdn which was crazy because for a private taxi we paid half of the price with grab. So be careful to get scammed by the hotel (you are not going to get any better quality car)
We had an amazing stay, the pool is huge, the service is great and the rooms are really clean. I left my necklace at the hotel and they made the effort to send it to me free of charge. Breakfast is also really nice. We would definitely come back!
