We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then!

We had a great few days at Maple lodge.
We had a great few days at Maple lodge. The lodge and hot tub were very clean and well maintained. Kitchen has everything you need and more.... bedrooms were beautifully furnished and beds were very comfortable. The only minor things that could be improved were there was no shower in main bathroom which would have made things easier for 5 of us in the morning (there is a shower in en-suite). The mains hot water wasn’t very warm when we were there so we couldn’t use the bath and had to boil kettles to wash the dishes.
The weather was very sunny and we used the outside seating area a lot - a sun parasol for the table would have been great on those hot sunny days.
Other than that those minor issues we had a great time and would recommend a stay at Maple Lodge.

The Lodge was lovely and comfortable.
The Lodge was lovely and comfortable. The Hot tub was really great. Furniture is a bit strangely placed for seeing the T.V. but not a major issue. The Property was clean except some wet towels were left in the washing machine. Lovely area to visit. I would recommend it.

A great long weekend spent here with friends.
A great long weekend spent here with friends. A very well equipped lodge house with a fantastic hot tub that is maintained daily. The only problem was the hot tub could actually be a little bit too hot and one night we all struggled to sit in it! The lodge itself is situated within walking distance of some great places to eat and is a great base for exploring Northumberland.

Had a fantastic weekend for the wife's 40th along with our 4 kids and the dog.
Had a fantastic weekend for the wife's 40th along with our 4 kids and the dog. The lodge was very clean and modern and the hot tub was unreal the only thing I would add was another shower over the main bath as the en suite gets very busy with people wanting to use that apart from that I would definitely book again and return

Great location, lodge was spacious, modern, clean and great value. Took us about 30 minutes to drive to kielder for a days cycling. The coach Inn on site offers an excellent Sunday dinner. Loved our stay here.
Loved our stay here. The lodge had everything we needed, plenty of room & spotless. Beds were comfy & the hot tub was amazing. Just what we needed at the end of a busy day. We were lucky to have some clear nights for stargazing. Location is great for exploring. We loved Alnwick, Bamburgh, Seahouses & Holy Island. We stopped in Newcastle on our journey up & had a great day by the quayside. Hope to visit again soon as more to see.
